Ask Coach
 

How many of you guys use the ask coach feature strictly for playing dynasty games? Been trying it out and its not too horrible. Some plays are repetitive though... Thoughts?

Sometime the 'Set Up' plays don't work out like they should for me.

I generally use it just because I don't have patience enough to wade through the playbook. I probably only use 15-20 different plays in a game and coach usually suggests the one I want to run.

My only complaint is that quite often if I have a 3rd down inside the 10 it will still suggest 4 Verts

I've found it doesn't work so well with custom playbooks. Also the play selection varies depending on your coach offensive aggressiveness and run/pass ratio settings.

I tried but they literally pick the same plays repeatedly.

That's all I use. If I don't like one of the picks I just flip it down to the next 3 plays.

I'm curious. Does it really give you enough variation and do you feel like you're really running YOUR offense?

Ask coach is absolutely horrendoussssssssssss! Idk how anyone can use that feature for a number of reasons but number one being that it picks the same group of plays over and over with little variation. you can have 300+ play playbook and you will only use about 20 or so of those plays with ask coach. this is partly the reason the CPU has such terrible and repetitive playcalling as well because the CPU basically uses ask coach.
