PLEASE HELP!! New Roster Update Issue

So I updated the new rosters without Ray Rice. He is no where to be found in the roster which is great. But when I start a new CFM and load up the rosters with the new roster he is still on it as a free agent and the Titans sign him everytime. Please help. Want to start new CFM without Ray Rice. I've tried a millions times and he still shows up everytime. I know a few others are having this same problem so please someone help.

Wow. EA kinda blew this one. First sim stats, no injuries on roster and ir not carrying over to CFM, robo qb, too any sacks, now they can't even properly remove Ray Rice from the game. Total bummer

You have to import the official roster and not load the cfm roster. EA hasnt/wont update the cfm roster (no, dont know why). I saw the update roster and I didnt see him on the ravens or the FA roster. But I hadnt started a cfm yet. But if you import the roster, he shouldnt be in there.

That's what I'm doing. I upload the official rosters that don't have ray rice in them. And then I go to CFM and hit import custom roster or whatever it says and it gives me the new roster and everything but ray rice shows up in free agency.

it only happens offline I even tried it online rice is nowhere to be found offline he sits in the FA pool top rated FA running back.


guess its another thing offline users will have to wait for to be patched.


and yes I d/led the new roster and clicked custom.

My bad. I hadn't got a chance since the update to get a cfm going. That really sucks though that he is in the game in cfm.

He's unusable in my beta roster fellas and will disappear if u wanna check it out it's in madden share most up to date depth charts and transactions as well

yes u can have a 1 player online cfm.

are you saying that if you get the week 2 roster, it overrides the roster already on your system, then start a cfm, that it doesn't use that roster as a base?

you physically have to select "use custom roster" in order to be using week 2 roster in cfm?

yes if u choose 75 man roster u will have the roster without all the cuts etc... and ray rice will be included... if u don't want him u have to choose custom and do a cfm online since there seems to be a glitch where he's in the FA pool on a offline one.

I actually checked that when i got home from work. I chose 75 man for my single person online cfm and rice is off the ravens roster.

Yeah man, you were definately right about the roster thing. Started my cfm over, and did the custom option, things look way better.

It's not just Rice, it's a host of other players that were removed. I used the week 2 EA updated roster, which does NOT have Rice, Chris Snee, Sydney Rice, James Harrison, and a few other guys. I used that as a base, adjusted some players and ratings and saved, loaded the newly saved roster, used custom roster for an offline CFM and all those guys are back in FA. Guess I don't understand where they are coming from if they aren't even in the imported roster? And the import is working because a couple guys I created came in, so I know it works, but those guys magically re-appear in FA?? Not a huge deal but still...annoying.

You could just edit the roster before starting your CFM and make them all punters, no one will sign them.
