Why pass interference sliders don't work

Wanted to just post this again in case anyone from EA actually reads these forums. The PI slider does work. The problem is that it is a slider for PI. The ball has to be thrown to the interfered target. Most human players avoid the entangled player and don't make the throw and the CPU never throws to an engaged receiver.

The only way to fix this is to have illegal contact and defensive holding penalties have their own sliders and actually trigger an animation with a play call.

I think EA has handled penalties in a silly way. They don't need to be procedural, pregenerate the number of holding calls in a game, etc... at the start of the game and randomly assign them to plays during the game. Users would never know and the animations and replay could look great since it could be staged. You could even simplify sliders so setting a slider to 4 would have a max of 4 holding calls per game. Penalties are random anyway and it would allow them to setup the game with minimal penalties for the twitch crowd and still give sim players a real world experience with great visuals.

This is a great idea. Definitely thinking outside the box.

great idea, im tired of throwing to a WR on a slant play and he gets pushed and either gets INT and yet nothing gets called...sometimes it happens so much i dont even want to finish the game
