For me the most significant & justified article this week was NHL 15 being rated higher on Xbox 360/PS3 as opposed to Xbox One/PS4. Significant in that it highlights to the industry that having a pretty game doesn't carry enough weight unless it also incorporates enough modes to make the experience relevant.
Justified? Yes! NHL 15 on the 360/PS3 maybe a mere Roster Update to 14 & even arguably 13 but at least it gives you enough features to make you want to go back to. How many gamers will still be playing NHL 15 on next gen in a couple of months time???
