Career Mode Question

I am new to the FIFA series (haven't played since 2008) and I had a question about career modes. As in sports games such as MLB The Show, do you have the ability to control all teams in your particular league? "Total control franchise" is what I think MLB calls it. I know NBA 2k15 is bringing it back this edition as well. I hope so because that would make the Premier League even more fun to play!

No, if you start a Manager Mode you pick one team to control and play only their games.

I think being able to affect outcomes across the entire league by playing any matches you want nearly defeats the purpose of having a franchise mode, but to each their own.

Thanks for your response. It's not so much that I want total control so I can control outcomes of games, as much as it's the ability to make roster decisions and apply accurate injuries that reflect the corresponding season. Accurate rosters for me = more rewarding career mode experience like I had with MLB The Show '14 this season.
