Ever so often in my Be a GM, I will hear the announcers talking about a player not coming back into the game because of an injury he sustained. I never see any presentation of an injury taking place or any mention of it when it happens. Is there signs of a player being injuried and I just happen to be skipping them somehow? Just curious if anyone could shed some light on this for me, thanks.

No, not really. When someone gets injured it is pretty poorly expressed in the game. Ray Ferraro usually mentions something about an injury in a generic fashion. Nothing really pops up as to who, or how, or what.
I don't skip over much with cut-scenes and I haven't seen any of the trainers coming out to help someone or anything really. I will get a player on the bench that looks dazed or is grimacing, every so often, as they mention an injury. But that is about it.
Usually when someone gets hurt Ferraro will mention it right after it happens. If the person happens to be in the camera shot while the game is playing you will either see them writhing on the ice or gingerly skating back to the bench.
Maybe others have experienced more, but that is what I have taken in thus far. -

Same as bigwill.. in previous versions you would see the player going back into the locker room, I guess it's just something else that was taken out.Comment

On PS4, I have not seen any injury cutscenes this year like they had in NHL 14. It used to show the player being helped to the locker room by a trainer.
I do like the new animations they added on PS4 where injured players will now slowly skate over to the bench hunched over in pain while the play continues.Comment

I have seen the old animations on old-gen but I always wished they weren't so rushed for bigger injuries. Maybe even get the stretcher out?

Nope, they were cut out for next-gen.
I just literally injured someone from Dallas and the play had to be literally stopped, watch him in pain on the ice for few seconds, watch one replay of the hit, then the camera pans to the crowd and them not really reacting at all and then the game continues on with a face off like nothing happened.
Also same game I fought some guy in Dallas with Kunitz, he got taken down and I dint skip anything, suddenly the next face-off apparently according to Ray he was injured and had to be escorted to the locker room... Well I sure as hell din't see any of that!
So yeah, no injury cutscenes for next-gen, that amazing new presentation though...Comment
