Players missing from season stats?
I'm playing an offline Bills' CFM and am 8 games into the season. When I check the season stats for the whole NFL, players are missing. For instance Dareus leads the league in sacks (until the patch someone from the user's team always leads the league in sacks). When I check the team stats he's there, Divisional stats, he's there, AFC stats, he's there, NFL stats...nowhere to be found. Anyone else experiencing this?

Happens for me too. As the other guy said, been happening for a while. No worries.Comment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
Yeah, the sacks leader not showing up has been there for several years. Why EA cannot find the time or means to fix this is beyond me. Probably not as simple a patch as it seems, but then again, we are talking basically about a display pulling numbers from a database . . . over the course of 3 years, you think they would get around to it!Comment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
Look at the defensive downs played. All these screens have a maximum number of players that can be listed. So computer is set to take the 300(i dont know exact number) of players with most downs played. Logic is that these people will have qualifying stats. With the NFL there is so many people that if you are not playing 15min acc clock on getting somewhat accurate playcounts for the games you play than likely your players dont qualify for the snap count, hense dont showComment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
That is not the case, I play 13 min quarters and am averaging 115-125 plays a game. My other DT who is like 7th or 8th in sacks shows, no reason Dareous shouldn't be on there. All other positions show on their respective stats page. As others have said, it's a known glitch.Look at the defensive downs played. Re: Players missing from season stats?
it IS about the defensive downs played. just b/c your getting the right amount of plays in the game doesnt mean your defensive players are getting the right amount of plays. That is not the case, I play 13 min quarters and am averaging 115-125 plays a game. this is something ive looked heavily into about 3 years ago when i first noticed it and it was driving me crazy.
i play 15min qtrs with acc clock at 13 and i never had this problem again, i stopped playing cheesy and started punting more and this "known glitch" never appeared againComment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
I play 13min quarters with 20 second runoff and average 4-6 punts per game. I average basically 330 total yards per game and 1.5 INT and my LB Laurenaitis averages 7.5 tackles per game. I have gone for only 4 4th Downs in 9 games and 2 of those were on a game-winning drive vs Steelers with under 1:30 to go. Robert Quinn has 29 tackles and 8 sacks and does not show up in league stats. He would be tied for 3rd. My defense is top 5 and has allowed anywhere from 10 to 34 points this season and I have had 2 OT games already. I even had a stretch of 5 games decided by a total of 22 combined points... Don't imply that this guy cheeses/doesn't play sim and that's why his stats don't show up.it IS about the defensive downs played. just b/c your getting the right amount of plays in the game doesnt mean your defensive players are getting the right amount of plays.

Re: Players missing from season stats?
i dont care what your stats are, its based on defensive downs played, if your guys are subbed in and out often then that is affected. do i think thats how it should be determined? nope and we both are in agreement that theres a issue but it is what it is right now and i was trying to help you out. bottom line is that for me, this is the first madden where i never had this issue so im obviously doing something different then you are.I play 13min quarters with 20 second runoff and average 4-6 punts per game. maybe its that i personally sub in and out position rather then relying on the autosub to kick in, i dunno. same goes to trying to find that balance between RB1 and RB2..Comment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
Thank you, this is exactly the case. If it was an issue with the number of defensive plays why do all the rest of my defensive players show on the stats page? So my starting DT who leads the league in sacks hasn't played enough downs to qualify? C'mon man, there is no way! I'm 8 games in, 5-3, have been to OT twice and I punt quite often. Multiple people have posted to this thread saying it has been a known issue for years so don't try to defend EA on this and blame the user. Just another ongoing issue they failed to address.I play 13min quarters with 20 second runoff and average 4-6 punts per game. Re: Players missing from season stats?
I am using Aarons auto subs and as I have said my D is playing plenty of downs. For this to be true it would mean the most prolific player on my defense also plays the least number of downs...really? So your saying he comes in 3 or 4 times a game, gets a sack and goes back out??? Sorry but that seems a lot more unlikely than the chance that, as has been posted repeatedly here, this is a known, ongoing issue.i dont care what your stats are, its based on defensive downs played, if your guys are subbed in and out often then that is affected. do i think thats how it should be determined? nope and we both are in agreement that theres a issue but it is what it is right now and i was trying to help you out. bottom line is that for me, this is the first madden where i never had this issue so im obviously doing something different then you are.

You can easily check how many downs your guy thats missing has played.I am using Aarons auto subs and as I have said my D is playing plenty of downs. Maybe im not explaining myself clearly im sorry i will try again.
Lets say your normal game that you play aganist the cpu is that the cpu runs 50 offensive plays aganist you. with the autosub that you play with your guy plays about 40 of those 50 plays (im just putting a number out there for general sake) so therefore your man only plays 40 defensive downs.
now the cpu v cpu games that go on i believe they are simmed on average to 60-65 plays for each team. therefore they are facing 60-65 defensive downs played..
you add the difference over the course of the season and it adds up. like i said orginally, i agree with you with the issues and its fustrating to deal with, i get it, but i was just telling you that in this years madden, i havent had to deal with this problem.
i usually run 70 offensive plays myself using 15min qtrs 13 acc clock...try that maybe?? the cpu usually runs 60 or so plays depending on how the game is goingComment

Re: Players missing from season stats?
No problem, I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your trying to explain this but I really don't think it is a issue with the number of plays. The fact that all my other defensive players show up on the stats list would indicate they are getting enough plays to make the list. It seems to be an isolated incident of just not showing the league leader in sacks, which is the exact issue other posters have said has been happening for years. Everyone else on my team shows on the league stats pages and the DT that is the sack leader also shows on the AFC conference stats and divisional stats. Sure sounds like a glitch to me.You can easily check how many downs your guy thats missing has played.
