I've had this game from gamefly for almost two weeks now and Im really getting annoyed with the fact that player editing is gone. Goalies that get traded in Be A GM sometimes don't wear the right pads and the mask is always the previous team's. How can something so simple not be in this game? It's truly mind-boggling stuff, sega genesis had the ability to edit players hahaha. Also has anyone noticed that when you create a player and go back and edit them afterwards, it creates a duplicate of that player in free agency?

Is there even a way to delete the rosters or start over with the default to get rid of created players? Right now I can't figure out how to get rid of my duplicate problem.Comment

Yep. I have whittled my wish down to just this. I gave up on Season Mode a month ago and I gave up on full roster control last week. I can live with all the nonsense and not having those features but for the love of God please let me edit players. That being said the content patch for October has it's features announced and with not a peep from EA on this matter (totally annoying) it's a good bet I will be diving into my Turkey leg and stuffing late November before this arrives if it's even going to arrive. Meh. I've had a PS4 for 3 months now and have not been impressed with anything this far really.Comment

I couldn't agree more. So far ps4 is a major disappointment. Yes the graphics are great, but the games (I only play sports games) are nothing more than a watered down version of the last gen game. I expected more and all we've gotten is less??? When will they take advantage of the new systems potential? Hopefully one day soon we will get sports games that we all were expecting with next gen? Maybe I'm expecting too much too soon?Comment

I think it's high time that this question be answered although I suspect their silence speaks volumes. When the game launched Rammer said player edit along with a few other things may be included but could not say if ir when. Well the 2nd content patch is all but done and there is no reason to believe that it will contain anything other than what they said it would so how about giving us an honest straight up answer....yes or no. I do not believe for one second at this stage of the game they do not know wether or not they plan on adding this or not. Any of the vague answers he gave should now be answered.

It's not coming this year. None of that stuff that you are mentioning is coming this year. He said exactly what would be in the 2 updates and that is all that NHL 15 for next gen will be getting.
He said "future". Which is vague, but nobody should read into that as in for this game. He meant NHL 16, 17, 18.
And we all should know by now that this guy is just a used car salesman. BS'ing his way to potential sales of people that don't know any better. To give him any benefit of the doubt is doing yourself a huge disservice.Comment

Agreed but at this stage it cant possibly hurt to just come out and say it there is no need to be vague or a car salesman anymore. Us idiots, myself included, who bought the game already paid and those who have not are waiting on certain features to be patched in before buying so it cannot possibly hurt sales to announce this is it and that we will have to wait until next year for other features to return. So many people are asking about player edit on a multitude of forums so just answer it already.....so much for increased communication lolComment

At this point he is not going to say a thing more about NHL 15. They have your money, no need to appease your crowd any longer. They are still hoping to sale this game to other people as Xmas gifts etc. The less that is out there about the mess that is NHL 15 the better.
He will pop back out of his hole again around E3 2015 to hype NHL 16 that will have no media allowed of it. Telling us all the "improvements" of the game and how this year they really got things in that they wanted to before but couldn't.
My game is sitting idle. It is unplayable to me. I play mostly online and the one patch they did release completely ruined that experience for me. So it is not like they are even making things better or fixing anything with their wonderful updates. All it is NHL Hitz now. The GM mode is wonky and not fun to me either, so I am left putting all of my chips in on a tolerable OTP experience when that drops. I am fairly certain it will be a mess as well. Then the game goes back on eBay or gets traded in. I only paid $35 for it and knew what I was getting, so I will cut my losses if need be. Just weird not having a hockey game to play this time of year. Then again, I haven't had a real hockey game in quite some time... pretty much since Rammer has been in charge. Ironic?Comment

I don't know how many times I tweeted Rammer to know if player editing was going to patched in this year's game, and I'm not the only one, a lot of people asked him about it. He never answered that question. As we all know by now, he only answers questions he wants to answer, so it's pretty clear to me that edit player will sadly not be available in NHL 15. I dunno how many times Rammer has answered this question... he said it most likely will not be in 15 an let alone 16 and they do not know when it will be back but they are trying to bring it back to next gen ASAP if you took the time to actually read the forums... it's been posted like a billion times but it seems no one here really knows how to readComment

Please give a link, as I would really like to read a clear answer to this question, not a vague one like "this is something important that we want to bring back in the future", which actually means absolutely nothing.
