Week 6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
Should be a good one. Seahawks currently have the best run defense in the league both in yards per game (62.3) and yards per carry allowed (2.6) while DeMarco Murray is putting up crazy numbers, so it will be interesting to see who wins that matchup.Tags: None -

Can't wait.........
Jk. I've been worried about this one for months. Good thing I'll be in Gainesville. Murray's gonna have to ball out in this one.Gators|Cowboys|Lightning|Rays|Tottenham Hotspur

Barring a near perfect game from the offense, I don't see Dallas winning this one.

Re: Week 6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
This one is going to be exciting.
I was getting confident about this matchup until I saw what Russell Wilson did to the Redskins this past week. The guy has escapability unlike any other and his receivers know to fight for open spots when a play breaks down. I don't think the Cowboys secondary is good enough to hold man coverage for long when Russell gets moving. And I don't think the Cowboys front-7 is good enough to put pressure on Wilson, especially if the defense is missing Rolando McClain or Bruce Carter.
I have no doubts the DOL can take it to the Seahawks front-7. I have no doubt DeMarco Murray will take it to the Seattle defense. I have no doubts Dez Bryant can win some matchups against Richard Sherman. I have no doubts Jason Witten will get his catches. What I do worry about is the Romocoaster coming back into town. These are the kinds of games where Romo shines and then does something bone-headed.
At the end of the day, the Cowboys will need to play a clean game: no penalties, no turnovers, no giving up momentum shifting plays.
On a side note, I can already foresee naysayers salivating over having ammunition if the Cowboys lose.Comment

We are nothing more than fools gold right now. Our road wins were vs weak opponents and we played at home vs a shaky Saints team and an average Texans team. To top it off we play at Seattle but they are coming off playing Monday night. Seems like the scheduler did the Cowboys a nice favor.Comment

Having the same thoughts, but I keep telling myself that they weren't dominant all year last season either though. Lots of shaky games and close calls then too.Comment

Re: Week 6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
If Dallas can keep Russell from bailing out the Seattle on 3rd and longs with his legs, they have a very real chance at this. That is if their run game is legit. If they can control the clock like they have been and convert while keeping Seattle's O on the bench, they have a great shot at it really.Comment

Re: Week 6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
I want it to be a close game, if Dallas is going to lose...which is my prediction. That's based as much on their having a banged up D and playing on the road as anything else.
But, ultimately, if the season goes well...this won't be the game against Seattle that matters...I would prefer to beat them in the playoffs.Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

But this was supposed to be the hard portion of the schedule tho? After this week, we get 4 straight home games + London. With Nov 23rd being the next major hurdle after the BYE? The run was supposed to start next week, not now. We're setting ourselves up well bro.
Plus we caught everyone of the teams that we have played so far after they had generated some momentum with a win the week before..
So it's fitting that we face Seattle. This is now a 5th chance to quiet a team making noise. I don't see why we're getting so quick to discredit what has been an apparent change in culture of the ballclub.Titans (1-0) Just got done with a brilliant Defensive effort vs. the Chiefs. They play the Cowboys. Now we're calling them sorry in hindsight.
Rams (1-1) Rams jump out 14-0 on us. We look defeated like year's past, BUT the Cowboys don't throw in the towel and rally to win the game. Now we're saying the team didn't win, the Rams lost.
Saints (1-2) No one had us beating the Saints. I sure as heck didn't. Not before the season or even leading into the game. Our D, the Saints O, oh and a National Audience tuning in to see a repeat of last year's record setting embarrassment. To discredit this game is not right. We were the better team all night long.
Texans (3-1) The Cowboys win yet another game they'd lose in years past against a team that won the prior game coming into the one vs. them.
Seattle is the champs, I expect a tough game. But I'm going to disagree that the Cowboys are a fools gold 4-1. They should be 3-2, possibly 2-3 right now. But won two ballgames the hard way (St. Louis, and Houston), and dominated wire to wire two games (Tennessee, and New Orleans). They have most certainly earned that 4-1.
EDIT- If the Cowboys go 4-2 over the next 6 (don't care in what order and this is def doable looking at the schedule). We are now looking at 8 wins, (8-3) with 5 games to win 1, to break the 8-8 barrier. That my friends is something to look forward to.Last edited by lilbiggio; 10-09-2014, 05:13 PM.Comment

I say Dallas loses in a heart-breaker by a TD or maybe a FG. This game is a test, but Dallas is already a playoff team before this game anyway.Comment
