    MyLeague Settings

Hey guys- Really enjoying 2K15 so far and I look forward to starting my franchise with the Warriors in a week or so.

This year we have a ton of options when we go to start MyLeague. I am curious as to what everyone thinks the optimal settings are to start a franchise. There are options in there like "Hard Cap", setting a salary cap # and several others that are interesting.

If any of you have any insight on the best way to setup our MyLeague I think it would really help the community. It would be great if we could even get a "sticky" when someone comes out with a MyLeague guide like they have done in the past for MLB The Show.

    Thanks!

Interested in setting ideas as well, ones that mimic as close to real life NBA in regards to trades, signings, etc...

I'm planning to keep all the trade sliders at default and just turn in the ability to approve/reject all CPU trades.

On another note, am I missing it or is there not a way to save MyLeague other than auto save? Really big bummer if all that's available is auto save as it usually atleast like to have a backup save file for my game modes

That's a good idea, I might just do that as well. Yeah I couldn't find nothing either about manual saves but if your on PS4, you can go to settings, Application Saved Data Management, saved data in System Storage, then copy to USB and do it that way.

I did a sim for Myleague and what I found is that on Default settings there's was a whole bunch of trades request by the cpu to cpu and cpu to user compared to when I did a sim for MyGM...

With that being said you guys should look into that because I have a early feeling that trade and block buster trade slider values may need to be adjusted...having the ability to veto any trades is a great thing but just something I noticed.

I only played MyGM for a second but I used the trade finder to find a 1st round pick. The team wanted to give me Wil Bynum and a 1st Rd Pick for Doron Lamb and a 2nd Rd Pick. WTF!?

From this alone we can understand that the default trade sliders are NOT going to produce the results that you are looking for as the AI trade logic is worse than ever. <---At least on default settings that is...

Id assume if you make the trade difficulty slider more difficult that wouldn't happen.

Personally I think it's near impossible to get trade logic developed to everyone's liking. I think what they've done this year is as good as it gets with being able to tweak the sliders and approve/decline all trades. I'm very happy with that just wish we could manually save files and turn auto save off. If auto save is required I think there should be a system like in FIFA 14 where it creates 3 different auto saves and alternates between them (atleast I think that was fifa 14 that had that lol). But no reason we shouldn't be able to manually save either way on a separate file (like how Madden 15 is for offline CFM where there is an auto save file and manual save file for each CFM)

Only problem with that solution is that it only works in MyLeague (I know that is the topic) but this does us no good in MyGM mode. We simply don't have the option to control those sliders. MyGM is bugged for me so I'm trying out MyLEAGUE now.

True, I kind of gave up on MyGM after last year anyway so I can't really speak on that. But atleast we have the customability in MyLeague now

I can't see any disadvantages to allowing the CPU to be as liberal with the trades as possible. Now that we have the ability to approve or decline these trades.
