Low Post defense this year by CPU is extremely physical, they are borderline fouls or sometimes even non-call fouls. This is my take to counter this physical CPU post defense (do them with the drop step while attacking with speed):

The drop step toward the baseline has been my go to move with Gortat and Nene. The dropstep towards the key is pretty useless though.

No. the drop step and the post hop and are assigned to x the post stepback may be to, but I don't particularly like that move so I don't use it.

No ^^ The best way to trigger a drop step is to push the left stick towards the basket then Tap Square (PS4).
