Waiting for Next-Gen Creation Suite Info? Not coming today.

Just FYI, in case anyone was waiting for this news. Now scheduled for Monday. The trailer was not ready to publish today.

2K continues their confusing marketing of this game by promoting news every weekday this week and then proceeding to not giving anything until yesterday (Q&A) and today (entrance video).

I just don't get it. I mean obviously things happen and get delayed, but they were promoting this info as late as this afternoon. Now to bury the delay news late on a Friday? Not a big deal on its' own, but yet another marketing gaffe for this game.

Yeah. Like I said, if you take this by itself it's nothing. Delays happen.

If you look at it and the entirety of the WWE2K15 marketing plan...man, this thing is so disjointed.

As I said on the 2K forums, they are legally trolling us. I just wish all game companies would just be transparent with us. But it really isn't a big deal. I'd say they are posting this on Monday because Call of Duty will be out as well. So if the news is bad, the blow won't be as bad since most will be on Call of Casual.

My take anyway.

With how great this game looks visually, you'd think they would be promoting it everywhere.

I don't want to bash, because I appreciate the effort a involved in making the game, but things like not being able to put Ambrose in a white vest and jeans in 5 months is a little jarring to me.

Well, we'll be able to do that through superstar editing with what sounds like Superstar Heads for everyone. It does take one of the 25 CAW spots, so there's that caveat.

The attire is can be changed easily enough it's not having the new theme songs and entrances for Rollins and Ambrose that stinks.


I'm not expecting much out of the creation modes this year. 2K focused on the improving the shoddy gameplay, and I think that's what needed to be done first and foremost.


Now if we're still at 25 caws and have gimped creation modes next year we'll have a problem.
