not a modder, but i've been looking to donate to mvpmods - been having a bit of trouble accessing the site though after i tried to make an account, and haven't gotten a response when i tried e-mailing them. any ideas on how i can get help?

Perhaps the greatest MVP cyberface maker, jogar, has indicated an interest in the project. He does not disappoint.

Not much in the way of updates in the last month, but I guess there's a while until the season starts. Any chance there will be updated rosters available for when spring training starts? I put some together last year based on your end-of-year rosters, but with a second kid having just arrived, I don't think I'll have any time for that this year.

Spring training rosters are always tenuous. especially at the beginning of ST since there are still so many moves to do before final rosters. I won't be doing roster updates any longer, but just finished contributing one last time to up date pitchers with significant MLB service toward the end of last year, which will be incorporated. I think they are shooting for an April release, which will, I think, minimally incorporate the rosters and the new stuff that's already been released.

I submitted updated pitcher ratings (primarily control) for prominent MLB pitchers for all 30 teams to the project manager. There will be some pitchers who received a massive overhaul, however, mostly control and sometimes speed and pitch type was considered. The project organizer will be taking care of the rosters overall as I won't be doing anything with them any longer. This should be a great release.

If you already have MVP 2005, you can get mods at mvpmods.com. Come over and take a look around.
