Free Agency Bidding

Hi guys.

1) During the Free Agency, is it always the highest bid (with the $ icon) that wins the auction?

2) Is the highest bid updated instantaneously? Cause I tested offering HUGE amounts of money to one guy, and my team logo won't show up in "Bidding Teams".

3) BTW, those 3 teams showing up, is it a top 3? Like the team with the $ logo is the highest bid, the middle team is the 2nd highest and the one on the right the 3rd highest?

Lots of questions... Please let me know! Thanks!

Yes to all, except the highest bidder wont always win, sometimes if a team is a better scheme or starting time fit theyll bounce for a little less money for a better fit, happened with martavis bryant to me

So "Highest Bid" is only about the money? Cause I tried to offer a player way way too much money and it didn't push me on top of his list, not even part of the list. So either some teams are offering ridiculous amounts of money, or the list works differently, I don't know! What do you think?

The bid with the money icon is just the first team to bid on the player

But the legend says highest bid for this icon. Or is it broken?

The icon represents the highest bidder, but it is updated on a weekly basis. So, if you place a bid to a player, you'll know It's the highest only in the next week. The salary and bonus bars are really good indicators though, when they are full you most definitely are the highest bidder.

In my experience, if it is a player that i really want, i try to get the bars into turning green. (They are updated instantly)
