    PES vs FIFA manager mode?

I dont know what the PES equivalent is... but how does it compare?

    -is serie A licensed?
-can you turn off manager firing?
-is the mode decent enough to grow youth, scout young players, etc?
-can you play vs friends in a shared league?

    Master League

    1) teams/kits/players yes, stadiums no. Serie B is also there, but with fictional team names and kits (real players).

    2) I don't think so?

    3) absolutely!

    4) not sure if you mean online..or 2 diff managers controlling teams and playing on same system....either way, no.

About question 4, I can´t really be sure about it, but I believe there´s an option for a shared league, or at least a coop mode.

I never saw an answer to this, nor does it appear I have permission to start a new thread.

Are there any modes that allow you to co-op throughout a season (think: Fifa Manager Career Mode) without having to play against other people ( 2 v CPU)?

If so, what feature modes allow you to do this, and what are the limitations/abilities of this mode(s)?

Thank you, anyone, for your time!

As far as I´ve seen in the game, you can do this in Master League. Still haven´t checked the pther modes, but I´m pretty sure you can do it to in custom cup modes etc. You can play online in a co-op mode with a friend. Never tried but it seems you can play all matches of your career with the help of 1 or more firends controlling your team. I even read that each player can control an individual part of the team, like player one controls defenders, player two controls midfielders, and player 3 controls attackers. But like I said, never tried it.

There is Co-op. There is a youth team for every team. & coming from someone who has not played sinch Winning Eleven 8, Master League is better then ever & certainly better then manager mode in fifa.

To me, PES wins by default because the offline gameplay experience is so much better. Also, Master League is just more straight forward and fun. I get bored with the endless off-the-pitch tinkering in FIFA. PES focuses more on game-planning and simplified player scouting/signing.

FIFA has more bells & whistles when it comes to MM but PES kind of engrosses you because the gameplay is ahead and like dub said, you don't need all that extra stuff. Now, don't get me wrong, PES needs to add to ML and fix some current bugs (high scores) but I'm getting a ton of enjoyment out of my Clermont Foot ML.

Re: PES vs FIFA manager mode?

Master League needs a huge overhaul since its mode is really barebones. I agree that the gameplay and team variety help but I can't just play game after game without getting bored since it's like playing multiple exhibitions. I really wish Konami makes a huge effort for ML to become Football Manager lite cause it's expand the appeal to play this great game.
