Honestly how is no huddle cheese? It ain't in the NFL. While I don't play online It not cheese to no huddle. Teams in college and the pros do it all the time. You just got to find a way to stop it. It is annoying when the AI does it's two min no huddle. You just got to adjust and find a way to stop it.

If you don't play online, then you don't have the right outlook. Some players use no huddle the ENTIRE GAME while the CPU does it during their 2 min. drills. Plus on top of that, the CPU doesn't have a slew of ghost routes and money plays as audibles that exposes the AI.

they dont need to limit it they need to slow down the pace of the no huddle. There is no way players should be able to sprint all over the field and sprint back to the LOS over and over. They should implement HUGE ratings penalties for all players if you keep using the no huddle over and over

Seems to me that one way to keep it from being abused is to have the offensive players lose more stam than the defense. That way if you use it exclusively, it's going to hurt ya haha.

No huddle is only way to reduce variance against ball hog cheesers and a huge reason why better players use it to lengthen the game. With 6 minute Q's and a 20 minute clock accel it's real easy for people to get a 1st down and and run off 4 minutes in 7 plays. There are certain opps who used to consistently do this until and make it a 6 possession game every time while wasting 45 minutes.

No huddle is real football.. There is still the occasional glitch where a WR is caught on the line of scrimmage vs a LB which needs to be ironed out but take away no huddle? Ouch

There should be checks & balances instilled in the game to prevent abuse of such things such as clock ball & no huddle. However, they arent cheese if you actually watch football teams do this all the time. What is cheese is if you run the same play knowing the AI is too stupid to adjust and you keep using the play on this broken game until it works (happens all the time guys may only run 3 plays all game & will keep doing it until it works & the AI never helps, never recognize). What is cheese is running that damn no huddle doing 4 verts & screens all the way down the field & there is no stamina reduction or anything. Cheese or a broken game most likely both ruins the online exp, never seen it so bad until I started playing EA games, they don't seem to test their games so alot of broken stupid illogical things happen. Until they committ to bringing us a game where there is checks & balances on both sides of the ball then the cheese will always be prevalent. Never had that problem in 2K, sure guys would abuse outs but the best thing about their football game was that it seemed both sides could make a difference. Year of defense my ***, EA

Idk I've seen alot more defense and points created from turnovers this year than in the past. You should be getting a lot of INT's or sacks if your opponent keeps running Verts, it's very high risk reward play that's pretty easy to stop.

Just using an example of the many iteriations of madden that suffered this problem. I know how to defend it, who should defend it, but when it comes time to execute, it's a roulette! Still defenders stand there in a zone and let ppl pass by, they rarely bump or challenge the defender. the pass rush is non-existent unless the user controls it. The ******* linebackers do not pursue nor do they pursue at an angle so they are constantly chasing the defender from behind. I like to play linebacker mainly Mike, I played that in high school & in my college career. I should be able to trust my AI teammates that they will do their jobs, I shouldn't have to always "ballhawk" to make a big play happen, but in this game the AI doing something right rarely, if ever happens. There is a lot of stuff in this game thats an embarassment to football but different topic for a different post. This brokeness leads to imbalances and then those imbalances lead to exploits being abused. EA did not make a great chess game so there is no checks and balances to counter certain styles of play, There is no rhyme or reason. It will be the wild wild west until EA commits to actual representing football or a more ambitious team steps up. No faith in both, yet I still soldier on, I just know that the guy ( or probably child) on the other end is not better than me in football, just better than me in madden so I don't sweat it because madden ball is madden ball, been that way since 09 and it will remain that way as long as these clowns committ to mediocrity when they make the game.

I don't have a problem with guys running the no huddle by I should be able to set defensive adjustments that stick from play to play.

For example, If I know that the guy loves to run short routes every single time, I should be able to set "Press every down" as an option if there is a no huddle situation.

The problem is that a lot of offensive plays online can only be countered with defensive adjustments, so players intentionally quick snap before you can make them.

Just vary your defense & there is an action to focus on underneath routes as a whole, set your 4 audibles to cover different formations/routes. This is football not a glitch. Sounds like you are playing people who are out game planning you.

Doing no huddle every single play is not out gaming nobody. It's bull****. There's a reason real NFL teams don't do it, and it's because players get FATIGUED, which still seems to be non-existent in Madden online.

And let's be real here. Out of all the people online who use no huddle every play, very few of them have any type of 'gameplan' that's not just 'let's exploit the A.I. and try to throw off the other player by not giving him any time whatsoever to pick a play.' The offense can still hot route like there is no tomorrow and anything the defense can do by audible pails to the advantage the offensive adjustments do in this game -- THAT'S EXACTLY WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ABUSE NO HUDDLE. It's not like they're strategically designing a plan of attack.

Well chip Kelly & his eagles run an uptempo no huddle, but it causes them rotate alot of guys in because they fatigue so quickly, but its mostly west coast routes their running not bombing it and returning to the line refreshed to do it again. Patriots also ran a no huddle and still are at points but it was because in the past their run game was shotty so they relied on the pass and still guys had to rotate because of the pace. They should have a measure in place that if your guy is tired it drastically effects his performance and if you wear them out all game and they can't handle it the fatigue should effect performance. We seen it before, I know it can be done. EA needs to make sure both sides of the ball has a fighting chance.

This isn't the 1990's.

I don't run no huddle every time but I run it when I know I'm going to have an advantage based on their previous package, like any coach logically would. I also use it because online the rules do not simulate real life or the # of plays in a game.

What do the top half of QB's do on a very consistent basis?

Get to the line, analyze & adapt for 10-20 seconds, go.

Yes Fatigue is unrealistic in this respect but it's not ignored.
