How does your "build" perform? (MC)

Hey guys, I thought I would start a thread here since I'm curious as to how everybody's build in MyCareer is turning out as far as performance at the park/rec. In talking to people at the park the most common build I've seen is a 7'0 SF, So I've come here to get more feedback and help out anybody that might have questions on what to upgrade.

    I have 3 files

    1. SF - 7'0 - 99 Ovr - All Badges (-Bruiser & some personalities) - Maxed every attribute except for rebounding.

This was my first player I made on release, It plays fine but nothing special since it is what pretty much everybody else has. In the rec it can play any position from the 1-5 which is pretty cool but again nothing special since it seems everybody has a 7'0 SF. I would rate this build 5/10 very average.

    2. C - 7'3 - 97 Ovr - All notable badges (posterizer,acrobat,deadeye) - 19 to every attribute except for Playmaking.

This was my 2nd file I made, this one to test the boosts in the park I purposely stopped upgrading every attribute at 19/20 to then use the +5 boost that way I had 97/98 in most attributes. Pre-patch this was my favorite to use even with the 30 ball control this guy was an absolute monster, the only negatives were getting stripped on postmoves + over throwing outlet passes after rebounds. Post-patch this build is terrible, shooting was nerfed, stripping became easier and this guy became useless. My rating: 9/10 Pre-Patch, 3/10 Post-Patch.

    3. C - 7'3 - 97 Ovr - All Key Badges - Maxed all attributes except Outside Shooting.

This is by far my favorite player to use post-patch, Every thing is maxed except for Outside shooting. I went the opposite route than with player #2 and maxed playmaking and it makes a HUGE difference I also got Dimer on this player and that is amazing after grabbing offensive boards, negatives on this one are obviously no outside shooting that isn't from post moves + low free throw shooting so you must master your FT release. My Rating: 9/10

    So bring on your builds!

My build is similar to your #3 build everything except shooting and playmaking maxed. Its great on the rec but how do you get dimer on a center? And breakstarter if you have that badge.

I rate all 7'0'' SFs 0/10 because people only make them to play park, which is lame to me. 7 footers do not play SF. I completely understand it, though, as the game does not limit your skills according to height. Basically a 6'8 SF has 0 advantages and the taller is always the better. Again, I understand it as you said, because everyone just cheeses with maxed out height so they can dominate park.

I have a 2 guard playmaker with limited shooting ability, wanted to mix it up. Was a 10-10-10 player on my best games. Pretty fun to play but obviously terrible online.

My athletic PF is my pride, though. 6'10 athlete with maxed out rebounding. It stinks that my guy gets dominated pretty consistently online by 7'0 SFs with 0 rebounding and maxed out athleticism and shooting.

Still fun to play with, though.

I got Dimer after 6 games with 20+ assists each game. So just focus on getting at least 15 assists a game and you'll get it eventually, break starter is just passing it down court after getting a rebound you just have to get an assist or pass to assist and you'll get it eventually.

Honestly 7 foot small forwards have a disadvantage and that's ball handling..
they can't get down low enough to protect the ball from smaller guys reaching.

My 6'7 shooting guard is good on d because he's tall enough to board and small enough to dribble without the taller guys being able to reach..
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Yeh you might be right about ball handling but with maxed out attributes they are still difficult to rip.
They also have a advantage in scoring inside/outside, defense, rebounding, pretty much everywhere lol ball handling is the only thing that they don't have a advantage on
