I'd like to see Jim Mora land the job for the Jets. I miss him. He reminds me of Mike Ditka. He's got that take no prisoners mentality. I want him to be their coach.

You got to admit that you miss him. He hasn't been a NFL coach since he took the UCLA job.

Yeah, and if he takes an NFL job he wouldn't have coached college since he took that job.
            NFL- Green Bay Packers
            NCAA- Florida State Seminoles
            NHL- Carolina Hurricanes

I didn't realize there were people who "missed" Jim Mora.

All I know is everybody stay away from Teryl Austin.

Mora Jr. is interesting in that he could turn out to be one of those NFL guys who get better for being in the college ranks but eek, I'd think twice about putting him into a boiling pot situation that's the NYJ. On the other hand his demeanor and style may be what the Jets need as we've seen a big personality fizzle out in Rex Ryan. In fact, there hasn't been a "quiet" personality type coaching the Jets since Al Groh in 2000. Sometimes you need to go back to basics that way.

49ers and coach Jim Harbaugh will have a mutual parting, per source. No firing. No resignation. No trade. Free and clear to go anywhere.

Which the niners probably only agreed to if the Mich. deal was all but done. I wouldn't put it past Harbaugh to be like "oops, like wait maybe now I'm that I'm free , I'll see what's out there."

They agreed to it because they want him gone as much as he wants to be gone. They could not care less where he goes.
