I think you can edit the positions, but the classes you can't.

In last year's game, you couldn't do either one.

This year, you will be able to change a player's position (at least in Dynasty Mode). Hopefully, EA lets you edits classes too. I don't know why they wouldn't let you do that. You're allowed to make an existing player 6'11" 250 lbs. with 95 speed and a 99 overall rating, yet you're not allowed to change the class of a player who is incorrectly listed by EA. It just doesn't make sense.

If you could edit classes, I think EA realizes that you could have the next year's rosters on the previous year's game then.
