Dribble up the court ANNOYING Animation
 

When I dribble up the court and move slowly , I get put into this STUPID dribbling animation where I can barely move out of it and sometimes get thrown out of bounds so I just pause the game and stare at the t.v so pissed . Has this happened to anyone else ?

yeah, happens all the time. it's been mentioned in other threads quite a bit. i don't know why this animation kicks in and can't be interrupted. odd that it got through.

It depends what offense your in. If your in a slow tempo, its going to walk it up. Annoying? Yes. Realistic? Yes. You see teams do it alot (Hawks,Grizzles etc.) especially with good big men..

It's funny, I played 2k14 PS3 with my PS Now subscription and noticed the animation there....nowhere near as drawn out though....Didn't even remember it.....

They definitely need to get rid of it though....

Has nothing to do with what offense you're in. It happens in MyPlayer, in the park, and in the rec center.

I also hate when you're trying to run back on defense and your player stops for no reason or hesitates.

Another animation that pisses me off is when you're playing help defense and the ball handler kicks the ball out. When trying to recover to the open man, your player comes to a complete stop and then starts stutter stepping like he's trying to do the ladder drill in football.

It's annoying as hell. Didn't start happening to me until after the last patch.

It not that big deal of a problem, never have i turned it over due to the walk up animation, i think people are over exaggerating about the animation lol

that's an understatement lol, people always seem to exaggerate over things you don't like. Everyone thinks basketball is a run and gun game as seen when you play online sometimes you just walk up the court like a real player does
