    Madden NFL 15: 32-Team Control

    Greetings,

I want to invest some time into a 32-team offline dynasty where I control everyone. I need your help in setting this up and would like to hear advice from anyone who has done this successfully. What settings / sliders should I use for realistic results? What is the best way to go about managing the workload of handling all the teams each week? How should I keep it all organized? Any insight as to how I can do this successfully would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on how in depth you really want to take it. You'll definitely need to go coach mode due to the owner mode salary issues (this also means you won't have control of relocations).

As for controlling teams, I would suggest creating a hand written profile for each team and stick to those styles for those teams. This will make it easier come FA and draft time to stick to best available scheme fit for each team.

I'm looking to do the same. Is it best to set all roster, draft, etc. moves to CPU when you "create" the coach, or leave them USER and set the teams to Auto-Pilot?

On the relocation issue, any idea if you can create an Owner to get the relocation started, and then retire the Owner right away? Assuming you do everything for the relocation in advance with that Owner (not sure, never done one before), I would hope the relocation would still happen. I would love to move the Chargers to L.A., and pick them up with a new coach.

Thank you for some solid feedback. If I go Coach mode and use existing coaches, can I just "Create a Coach" later to simulate the coach firings / staff changes? The new coach I created would just take over for the existing one I assume. Also, can I change schemes of already existing coaches?

I believe the answer is yes to both of those questions. I managed to change Jim Harbaugh to a 4-3 / west coast scheme in one of my test franchises, at least from what I was able to tell in the ~5 minutes I took doing it. The only drawback I see with creating a new coach is that you might have to retire the existing coach to get a new coach in. So you might not be able to simulate Rex Ryan getting fired from the Jets and being hired as the Bills HC. But not 100% on that one.

You can't be both owner and coach at the same time. So I think it would be best to create an owner for the franchises you want to move when you very first start the CFM, go through the relocation steps, retire, and then become the coach. If you decide to relocate a team you are already coach of, I think you might have to retire the coach, making him unplayable, and then become the owner, relocate, and come back as another coach (one you hired while you were owner). Not 100% sure on this (similar to my previous post)
