World League Idea

I was thinking of trying to get teams from every country in one league and the only one big enough is English 4 league system. I always wanted to see how non European Leagues would do in Europe as there is no real way to have every country compete in one competition unless you use my proposal. I usually play I don't pay attention to small European Leagues or non Euro leagues. I also would add the top teams from all the Europe leagues so it would be a true World League. I know still have Champs League and Cup and only the English bids would get in so many top teams won't be in it but think if rather see how top teams like Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona, PSG would all far in ful seasons. The FA Cup , League Cup and Johnstones Paint Trophy would be pretty good small tourney to be mini Champions league.

Relegation and promotions will also help some teams get a shot vs top teams and if you can go from League 2 to Premier League you would have beaten the best teams in the world and completion would be a lot tougher.

Here's details if you wanna try it out. I did try a custom tournament but that's only one year and no transfers, cups, growth etc

- Each country has minimum of 2 top teams
- Only include top flight teams no B league teams.
- For even better fair play you can try organizing league levels by teams with similar transfer budgets so there's not like 90 m gap in top teams vs bottom teams in a league.
- Each league number of teams based on league strength and can only have maximum of 5 teams from a league.

Here's a off top of my head organization of leagues
BPL: England, Italy, France, Germany, Spain
Championship: Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Shaktar, Olympiakos, Poak, Panthiakos, Austria, Belgium,
League 1: Argentina, Chile, Mexico, USA, Celtic, Rangers, Sweden, Swiss,
League 2: Ireland, Australia, Poland, Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Colombia, Denmark

Idk if forgot any leagues just off top of head.
Lmk any suggestions and which top teams should add from each league.

Here's a Super League someone over on Reddit created, which should give you a pretty good idea of some of the best teams in some of the lesser-played leagues (Eredivisie, etc.).

Transfer budget is one way you can do it as I tried it before but the teams/countries will be spread out a lot more. It's a tough call as I wanna really keep teams with small budgets not playing a huge gap with other teams. Good example is Irish teams real small budget and would be placed in league 2 but I would also add Saudi Arabia and Korea in L2 based on league talent/team ratings but Saudia and Korea teams could have 10-12 m budget and yet Irish will only have like 500-700k just be really too unbalanced.

I did one just by league/team rep is example above but transfer budget would def mix it up like AC Milan be dropped from BPL and prob add team like Zenit with higher budget . Think Milan had 18m budget and when I did trial run by budgets cutoff for BPL was 26.5m budget and above which still had huge difference with PSG ,Real Madrid, Man City over 100m

Here would be the breakdown of budgets from league I tried.
BPL 26.5m and above
Championship 10.0m-26.5m
League 1 3.6m-9.5m
League 2 3.5m and under

In the end still got same teams from each country just some leagues look a bit different with some high profile teams in lower leagues because transfer budget low and some lower ranked teams in higher leagues because transfer budgets surprisingly high. I can't do both too much difference so I'll pick one and see what happens. It will be interesting and is just hope even if go by budget not same teams on top or more likely same ones relegated or finish bottom half

Ok thx for list I'll check that out only difference is I'm including every league with at least 2 teams and no div2/B ones. I don't see many non European clubs on his list . I'm add in MLS, 2x S.African Rest of World teams, Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Columbia, Mexico and Argentina.. I know some MLS , Mexico and Argentina ones but no idea rest really and hard only pick 2-5 from one league if similiar ratings or budgets . The list def help for small Europe leagues they get tough hope pick decent teams not crappy ones overrated this year or got rich owners for big budget but always finish mid table and are mis managed
