Definitely intrigued for this. When I heard about them doing this I was excited, but the trailer makes it look much better. Should be a good one.

We can only hope for a Death Row Records movie.

I'm a sucker for nostalgia and N.W.A. was certainly an influence on my life, even if I wasn't dealing with the same issues (race, neighborhood) as the group, I could relate to the anti-establishment themes.

Whats next a death row records movie

It's a movie on the group, like Notorious was for Biggie, Pac's got one coming. 8 mile was just a Hollywood'd up version of Marshall's story, I like seeing it play out, even if it's not 100% accurate. They're all favorite artists of mine (minus biggie), eazy is my favorite of all time, I wanna see the story played out on the screen.

I can see the nostalgia angle

This was pretty much my introduction to rap as a kid. My uncle would bump N.W.A. with 2 15's in the back of his toyota pickup. That was so crazy lol.

But then I found out about Geto Boys/SPC/SUC/H-Town underground rap and it was really on !

Red band trailer was interesting. I want to see this, but I want to see how they handle some of the negative things (Easy-E's HIV, Negativity from Death Row, and a few other things). Or will they end the movie before some of those things come to pass.

I'm a head so definitely biased, but it is hard for me to get behind a lot of stuff being put out today. But personally, Public Enemy and NWA most definitely deserve at least documentaries... the movie (fiction) seems perfect for NWA.

Separate note, I'd much rather watch this, Biggie or 8 Mile than Get Rich Or Die Trying or some other crappy movie that is starring rappers.
