2K15 actually does a pretty awesome job of putting together a large collection of historic players. If you browse lists of the greatest players, most are in 2K...


Putting together a list....mostly just for fun, but maybe 2K will see it and get some ideas.

I'd like to see a good Earl Monroe card. The only version of him is 81 OVR, and the only reason for that is because 2k is lazy and don't realize that he only averaged 11.9 points per game because he switched teams at the beginning of the season and only played 20 minutes per game. His per 36 minutes has him at 20.2 points, which is in line with his better seasons the years before. Also, it would be nice to have a full Lakers team from the 3 peat, not the 97-98 team which didn't win a championship. Give me one with Shaq, Kobe, Rick Fox, Robert Horry, Derek Fisher, Brian Shaw, Samaki Walker, etc. Also, a prime Elgin Baylor would be nice. His 64-65 card is decent, but a 61-62 version from when he scored 38.3 points per game and grabbed 18.6 rebounds per game would be amazing.

Nick Van Exel would be awesome. Been wishing they'd put him in the game since 2k13. Give him good quickness and the 3 ball cheese and he'd be super fun to use.

He's getting an ONXY card so we are good.

I like to see more players from the 2000s. You guys mentioned most. Stephon Marbury, and Damon Stoudamire. If Grant Hill and Jason Kidd aren't added we should riot lol.

I think what I really want the most are some Historic Coaches like Phil Jackson or Larry Brown, championship winning coaches that made a good team great.

Fat Lever has a card coming...and I really want that. I think after TBT it will be affordable. He is basically a rich man's Rondo who's career was cut short by injuries.

Too much to ask for I know but I would like to see some of the former dunk champs like Miner, Sky Walker, Isiah Rider, etc...

and what about more tall guys, the 7'4" PF Ralph Sampson before injuries was a nice player. Manute Bol....would be crazy with his 31% from 3pt season....lol.

what about the little guys? Calvin Murphy, Michael Adams, Dana Barros, etc....
