Would punting the domestic cups get me fired in career mode?
My current objective are basically to win the treble. I really don't feel like playing the capital one cup/fa cup and was wondering does bouncing out in the first games get me fired even if I win the league and europe?

My setting of the difficulty from the board is highest I think is like 60% or something, I don't know if that is related to this but my objectives are to get into final in one of the cups and finish first or second in league one football England, however, I m knocked out in all my cups but at least I was in the semi final for j paint trophy cup and i think round 32 for fa cup, and I am at the third place now, I wonder if I will be fired, I am so close to finish both objectives but not EXACTLY...

Objectives in second season, win the League and have a cup run. Now, in my mind I have decided this is because I made a slight profit in transfer market, cut wage budget and signed 6 good young preniership players on 2 year loan deal However, am not sure the AI code is that clever. Most likely thing is tge lower league clubs are more forgiving than the big ones. My money says you shoukd have no fear of the bullet |

The board don't care about the cups, only the league. I saw someone have deep cup runs with Pompey and finish 4th in the league. End result, sacked.

Not for certain, obviously depends on board settings and team size etc. In my experience I have always found that the board seem to favour league form (which is realistic in modern times). I wouldn't be surprised if you were though.
