you wouldve been a lot better off spending the 20,000 stubs on individual players

That's not as fun though. The little kid inside me still loves opening packs of sports cards and always will lol

To answer the OP's question, I've opened about 60 packs and never pulled one diamond player. I've pulled a pair of diamond cleats, and some diamond sponsorships which are not worth very much. I've pulled a few gold's but they were lower tier golds like Hunter Pence and an Alex Gordon, and some low 80's relievers.

Yea I've gotten some pretty lucky picks. I picked a Cutch from my anniversary stubs and then pulled a Stanton with another pack that I earned Stubbs from playing the game.

Out of 15 packs I probably got two gold players , not much luck. I will say my player I created is now a gold in 5 positions and a diamond in 2 so thats a plus to getting all those crumbs in my packs

Absolutely agree, but for 1000 stubs it is a much better investment to just buy and sell cards.

I havent gotten any luck at all from packs. Most of them are just common players or bronze guys that end up getting sold or fed.

I cant say Ive been completely unlucky though because I got a Jon Lester card after a game as a reward card. ...It had nothing to do with opening a pack though so I still feel like Im wasting stubs any time I buy a pack.

I've opened nearly 100 packs and I don't think I've pulled a Diamond since getting 2 in my Anniversary packs, Scherzer and McCutchen.

25+ Packs, 1 Gold, No Diamond, 2 Silver.

I learned that it is better to "play the market" and try to sell high and buy low. I currently have just 17,000 stubs. What is the easiest way to get stubs?

I would guess probably the method you mentioned - sell high and buy low

I've definitely trying to scout the market to get the best deals. But it took me a long time to get to my current 17,000 stubs. I'd hate to drop them all on one player. Then have to build it up again.

I just wish they announced the rubric to how stubs are given out. How many for exhibition game/Franchise game/Rtts/DD. Quick Counts? Fast Forwarding? Difficulty? I think they would have have an impact on how much you earn per game but it would be nice to know exactly.

That's not really much of an issue as players prices don't really fluctuate too much. I haven't had any problems selling players, they usually go pretty quickly. I think I made one bad investment where I lost 500 stubs but everything else has been profit you should be fine.
