Jim Beglin Returns to Work on the Commentary For PES 2016

Jim Beglin is scheduled to return this week to be the co-commentator on PES 2016, teaming up once again with Jon Champion. For what it's worth, Jim promises something different this year.

Great! He's been so good so far so why not???
Seriously this is not a good decision. I wouldn't say FIFA has the best commentary but PES & Beglin is really awful.

Agree completely. But hey, at least it sounds like he may record 3 or 4 new quotes, just to keep things "fresh", lol. PES is a great game in many ways, but Konami seems to pull a few head scratchers every year that keep the game from reaching its full potential.

Yeah...I've no faith in PES having good or at least decent commentary.

Why blame Jim Beglin? It's not his fault that PES commentary sucks. Konami doesn't put any effort into it so whoever they get, if Konami doesn't make it more dynamic, they could get the best commentators in the world and it would still suck.

I for sure don't blame him, I know Konami is the incompetent ones and responsible of bringing awful commentary. If people complain about the English commentary being terrible then they should listen the Latin American ones, those are really a mess and makes me avoid listening to them since I know how decent/good are in reality.

The main problem, aside from Konami just not investing enough in the process, is that Champion is more of a solo guy than a conversationalist in the booth IRL, which doesn't lend itself well to him pretending to have a back and forth rapport with Beglin in the game. He's like the anti Martin Tyler.

Isn't there supposed to be new commentators in this years game? Wasn't that a bullet point somewhere?

Would rather listen to the Japanese or something I don't understand, atleqst that way it doesn't get so repetitive.

Eh, I think I'd rather have the commentary team they used for the demo.
