XBOX or PS2
 

I only have the PS2 right now. I've been hearing that the PS2 version of this game will be limited in its features, especially with the halftime and post game reports from Chris Berman and ESPN. Also, I assume the custom music and music ripping is only availabe on the XBOX. Can anyone confirm any of this? Or give me an idea of what the major differences will be?

You have to have the HD for the PS2 to have most (if not all) the features that the X-Box has (X-Box comes with a HD). Graphics are of course, the exception.

Yeah without an HD the features you listed for PS2 are not on there. Xbox is def the way to go if you have both. It was also built for the xbox and ported to PS2 insted of vice versa.

I want this game badly, but Im gonna have to spend a pretty penny to get it the way I want it. I only have ps2 as well, so its either buy the HD, or buy an XBOX. Im leaning towards getting the HD simply because theres nothing I really want on Xbox, plus i've already invested so much in ps2 already (network adapter, headset, multi-tap, controllers 2 memomory cards) and I'd have to buy all that stuff for XBOX. Looks like i'll b buying that dammed hard drive cuz i cant have my ESPN without Boomer!!

I dunno, it would be tough to get rid of my ps2, i mean i freakin slept outside of best buy in the rain just to get it. All the memories would be tough to let go, but im seriously considering it. How much do you guys think I could get?

-PS2
-USB headset
-Network Adapter
-2 memory cards
-multitap
-3 controllers
-used PS2 surround sound system
-About 14 games the best and newest ones I have:
(Fight Night, MVP Baseball '04, NBA Live '04, NCAA '04, Timesplitters 2, Midnight Club II, Def Jam Vendetta, Tiger Woods '04, WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, GTA:Vice City &amp; GTA 3)

What do you guys think would be a reasonable offer for all that?

You would probably be able to trade all of that in for an xbox and a couple of games.

But then I would have to get XBOX live. How much is that? Do i have to buy another usb headset in addition to Live?

-edit: another thing I forgot about is that GTA:SA is coming out this fall and thats PS2 only. Makes the decision even tougher
