I wish they would say how long these will last and/or if there's a limited quantity and once they sell out they're gone.

I'm a recovering pack addict and I've been trying to stack my money up and build it up by flipping cards so I can buy some diamonds, I've made up to almost 40k the last day and a half, and then they go and drop this on me lol.

I bought a couple packs on the website but they didn't show up in pack management. There's already a handful of bug reports here so if you came here with the same issue, go upvote the reports.

I figure their servers are just slow today so I'll just relax until they appear.

So is it still possible to exploit the challenge system for stubs? I wonder how much that has affected the market. Someone messaged me on PSN asking how many stubs I had and they started complaining about people abusing the challenge system, but I wasn't sure how.

I hope the market doesn't get too flooded since I don't want every team becoming stacked in DD, including mine. It is nice to run into balanced teams every now and then.

They really need to go all out with HOF/Legend players next year, if this is the direction they're taking it.

I bought a silver limited pack online and it would not show up. I went home over lunch and it did show up on my system and I was able to open it. So maybe try that before you report that you cannot open your packs. the bad part is the pack was nothing special, Michael Bourne was top player. A waste of 7.5k stubs.

Unfortunately that's a recurrent theme throughout all UT modes: The bigger the pack, the bigger the risk. The allure of making a big score is always there, but the fact is most of us will never find a Kershaw or a Schmidt in a pack opening.

I've been playing FUT for five years and never once found a truly great player in a pack, but managed to score dozens through wheeling and dealing on the market. My strategy for DD will be pretty much the same.

How much did you spend on packs though?

I spend a decent amount on FUT packs this year (probably 4 million coins or so) but was able to get TOTY Lahm, TOTY Silva, Robben, 2x Bale and 2x Aguero. This was all before they introduced the price ranges so they were all worth a lot at the time. I sold Lahm and Silva for 2.5 million each alone.

The trick is if you spend enough, you are eventually going to get someone decent. The problem is figuring out how much you can afford to spend and if it is worth it for you in the long run.

Most times though, you're better off investing in the market, although EA has pretty much destroyed that as well as a consequence of their greed.

In real coin? Zero. In UT coin, maybe half a million a year over a five-year span. Early on I decided was going to stop gambling on packs and start investing toward the players I really wanted. I think it worked out okay.

And yeah, the price fixing pretty much destroyed the joy in FUT investing for me. Hopefully DD never adopts a similar approach.
