Legends 5%

Is going for a legend worth it for that 5% earning increase Or should i just go for a diamond player. Only got 20,000 stubs by the way any opinions or suggestions will be greatly appreciated .

For 20k stubs you can easily complete the diamondbacks entire collection and get the 5% plus steve finley (you can't sell the legends you earn from completing collections, only ones you randomly pack).

The diamond guys are incredible, but i'd rather have a lineup of legends/golds than have a couple of diamonds. plus hopefully the 5% stub bonus will be a nice addition as well. I'm a couple cards away from completing cleveland, tampa and arizona all right now.

Go with some of the easy legends that only require you buying some silver players and worse. I sold my Carlos Gomez to get enough to get every Indians card for Kenny Lofton and had enough left over to buy a cheaper gold player anyway.

20,000 is plenty enough to get cheaper collections done so I think it's worth it. I just made sure to get one that fit my needs and was cheap first despite me being an Indians fan.

Giants are up there for sure. Pence is the only Gold player you need (around 8-9k when last I checked) and the rest are super-affordable.

I did the dante bichette collection for like 3.5k a few days ago

I finished the Arizona collection for like 3K total so its pretty easy. I haven't noticed any difference in my luck with cards though. All crappy bronzes with the occasional silver.

I checked after reading this thread and you guys are right, Dbacks are a breeze to complete. If you are patient with buy orders I could see getting this done for under 2,000.

The giants with will clark as the Reward seems tempting. plus hunter is the only gold needed ,hoping will clark is a beast 92 ovr is not bad.

He was my favorite player back in the day, so Will the Thrill was the first Legend I went after. In DD, he hit a homer in his second at bat and ended up scoring the winning run. He's cooled off since then but it's pretty cool having him in the line-up.

Does the bonus stack ? I did the red sox collection and the twins collection but dont want kilebrew in my lineup but ill replace someone if the bonus stacks

The bonus stacks, but I don't think you need the legend in your lineup for the bonus to apply. Just need to finish the collection. I could be wrong though

I'm so friggin stingy when it comes to buying 80+ cards. This might be why I haven't completed any collections yet. I finally caved in and went after Pence and the other high orders for the Giants collection. Now, I think I need one more card to complete the collection. I can't really tell how close I am because the collection status on the website doesn't immediately update

Last year, my patience really paid off when completing collections but now that the recycler is gone you sort of need to buy more collectables that are high in competition unless you are really willing to wait for them to appear in packs and rewards.
