Diamond Dynasty is freaking amazing. Love this mode...is an addiction

I have dumped players like Kemp, Gardner, Nelson Cruz for players like Steven Souza, Dexter Fowler.

Is so awesome to find that rare gem that plays like superstar against so many different online opponents. Their performance feels so real...

I have a hard earned team with a lot of thought and luck put into it.

Jesse Hahn has been absolutely money for me...outmatching Legends and 90 rated players I've pitched with...I'm not sure what is it about him but people online simply can't hit him.

Jesse Hahn (Overall 78) stats:

1.66 ERA, 92.0 IP, 73 Hits, 10 BB, 5 homeruns allowed, 94 Strikeouts.

Just ridiculous stuff. He has stuck in the rotation while a lot of my early guys have come and went.

Yes I know A.J Ramos is really good in real life...but his numbers have been amazing:

0.84 ERA, 43.0 IP, 20 Hits, 60 K's, 12 BB, 2 homeruns allowed

Justin Morneau is hitting .363 in 168 AB.

Steven Souza Jr...

1000 OPS in 82 AB with 4 homeruns and .354 average.

Dexter Fowler was absolutely amazing for a while before coming back to earth a bit as well.

I let pitchers show me what they got for one or two games and replace them for someone I think will be harder for you guys to hit...regardless of their rating.

Hitters get a little more breathing room...but will get replaced if I can't find a rhythm with their batting stance in 30-40 AB or so.

Jarred Cosart is a beast for me 3-0 1.12 era all wins vs human played teams on head to head. He is a 79 overall but owns for me

I was hitting .320 with Beltran before he was nerfed even further. However, with the death of Beltran came the birth of A-Rod.

I was hitting .083 with A-Rod before he was upgraded. Now he's hitting .360. He's tearing the cover off the ball.

I forgot you could play against the computer. I only play against human players.

Just picked up Jacob DeGrom for cheap in the market place...dude has been an absolute animal so far in two starts...23 strikeouts.

Starling Marte. Has double the HRs of anyone on my team, including power hitters like Trout or Bautista. His 99 speed and high contact doesn't hurt either.

Mike Fiers. He's a starting pitcher in the 70s that always throws near no hitters for me. Once his command gets up, I seem to have no problem painting the corners all game long with him.

I have sat kolton Wong (I think he was rated at 80 don't have it infront of me) in place of dustin padroia at 2nd and dustin has yet to produce. Wong was batting .350 4 hr 25 rbi in about 150 ab. Padroia is .250 0 hr 3 rbi but that's been over maybe 20 ab so time will tell

Cole Calhoun hits .415 for me with RISP. I've found him to be lethal to righties.

Idk if hes a "nonstar" but andrelton simmons has been insane for me offensively. Hes got like a .630 OBP and a 400 BA.

I think its his batting stance thats the reason for it

You could be right in that. I had him as my SS hitting in the 8 hole for a long time. Then I was stupid and tried shaking some stuff up to get a bit more pop out of my lineup. I moved Hanley ramirez from LF to SS since that's one of his 2nd positions and I put Michel Cuddyer in left field figuring offensively that would improve my team overall. Nope went 3-6 partly thanks to that switch. Cuddyer was hitting around .270 0hr 5 rbi while Simmons collected dust after he was hitting .340 2 hr and 20 rbi. To make matter worse remirez would have an error almost every game it felt like and any time the ball was hit at him I got nervous. It all came to a head when he booted back to back easy grounders and one of which threw over the head of 1st base into the stands. Thankfully I had david price on the mound pitching a gem. 9 innings 9 strike outs 1 BB 2 hits 0 runs. Needless to say Cuddyer is now on my bench, Hanley is back in left and Simmons is my SS until I get a lucky pull or something.

Mark Trumbo, A-Rod, and Soler. Trumbo is batting .333 with 4 homeruns in 17 games(was batting sub .100 with zero in first 5). I tend to mostly use the power swing with trumbo and look for balls lower in the zone. A rod and soler both have 2 hr in 15 games and are both batting above 350

Obvious one that everybody has is starling marte. I don't understand how he's so good considering his stats. I'm pretty sure it's his batting stance, he's able to really get around on a ball and hit it far.

Mookie betts was killing it for a while but I have a glut of outfielders now.

I've been doing well with andrus. Solid contract good defense and speed.

Mauer behind the plate is solid coNtact guy.

Carlos Martinez has an electric fastball and great circle change.

Cody Allen has outperformed drob and Andrew Miller for me.
