Lol you just noticed it now? I agree that it can be abused but it also has a lot of benefits. Fact is, it won't be taken out of the game so try not to let it bother you too much.

What I hate is when they walk up, kick you off, then walk away...wtf

There's way too room for abuse with the VIP, a Legend3 can even kick off a dude whose team just won and all 5 are standing on the court. The only good thing about VIP is that sometimes it can help with kicking off those random strays who refuse to hop the spot when two full teams are ready to go.

But all things considered, it is definitely the cheesy cherry on top of the 2K cheesecake. Motto: cheese to legend 3 and cheese like a vip

I've never been kicked off by a Legend 3.

But then again, I'm a legend 2 lol...I don't really know why but they've never bothered me ever. Knocks on wood.

It would suck to be on a streak in the rec and have one come and take a spot tho. I didn't know that was possible

If you're in inner-city chicago, and D-rose comes to your park...

And says he wants to play. well. he's going to play and whoever is there is going to let him on the court.

And 1. it's really fun to do. It's hilarious. and 2. It's often quite useful in getting your team on a court.

i mean im a all star 3, so i doubt its going to keep being me who get kicked, but its still a stupid ability to have that unfair to people who are just starting off. as said earlier. you are a rookie 1 , first day in the rec and you getting kicked off repeated by a guy who is just bored . wtf.

thats probably the ONLY benifit. but when there already 3 people waiting how you going to kick off 2 people just so you and your boys can play. AND THEN LEAVE WHEN THE GAME STARTS. thats just being a *******. but as you said, its 2k. this is to be expected in this cheese fest

i only saw it used once before but i didnt notice what it was till it happened to me then my boy explained. but when more people start hitting legend 3 i really feel bad for newer people who just got the game.

im pretty sure D rose wouldnt try to impose his will on the guys who got next to make sure hes the next one. that would just be adick move for a guy who is considered to be softspoken and treated as a role model for the city. of course this is UNLESS the guy willing give up his spot for D Rose.

What's going to happen, is that the kids with no hope of a future in the chicago ghetto playing basketball... are going to be amazed and happy that he's there.
Nobody is going to tell him, I got next you can't play next. That's ridiculous.

And yes. it's fun to do. That's not an argument, just a reality. And maybe a reason why they are rewarding their best players.

What's "fun" about messing with a dude who's been waiting for 10+ minutes to get a game going? That's some little kid stuff.

I'm a legend 2, and both my friends are legend 1s...we were getting next and this legend 3 had his 2 other guys squad up and try and kick us off....

LUCKILY, you don't have enough time to knock someone off then get next in the squad area before the guy who was knocked off can get back on.

So he couldn't steal it from us. Now if we were all randoms the guy would be out of luck...and the whole perk bonus to me is a horrible idea. Idk who came up with it but I can really see a bunch of losers abusing it once there's more legend 3s.

The problem really is not Got next VIP, it's the 13 year old kids thinking it's fun to abuse it but since this game is full of those kids it's not a good feature...it wasn't 2k's worst idea tho, definitely has some benefits

It actually kinda depends on how good a dude's connection vs the other guy when it comes to kicking someone off got next and quickly hopping on the squad, but I'd imagine it would be tough in the park. In the rec it works all the time, especially if the dude getting kicked isn't closely watching his screen.

But you're right, it's going to become a huge problem once more dudes are legend 3, it's already starting to happen. I've even seen a full team of 5 all legend 3, there's absolutely no way to stop them from getting a game, they could kick off entire teams that have been waiting for days just by all running up and mashing X or A

that's why i just stay in the park...i've seen it too much in the rec and it ruins everything. plus i usually got my other 2 real life friends on so 3's makes sense.

they cant kick you off squads tho can they?
