At $30, is Live 15 worth it?

    Hey all

Im a 2K sim player, purely offline gaming. Im thinking of getting this game as I recently played the demo. I noticed a few flaws (like inside defense non existent) but it does have it upsides vs 2K.

The game is now $30. Should I get it?

I would have to say no. Especially since its been sold for cheaper than that this year, I believe that was on Xbox One.

Its not a horrible game imo, and a nice change of pace, but I can think of much better things to spend $30 on.

Is there a way you can rent it?

In on PS4 then yes in my opinion. I think it's free on ea access on Xbox one.

It was sold as low as $9 digitally. I'm sure it's $20 or less used online.

They ruined gameplay after their last patch. All post shots go in, no jumpers or 3s. 95% of players, even in this community, can barely shoot 25% between jumpers and 3s..

Would have to say no. $10-$15 range would be ideal.

Not worth it. I gave it a good amount of burn when it first dropped, and while it's improved from last year, it still has a LONG way to go.

You don't know it yet, but you've been spoiled playing 2K. Don't waste your $30. JMO

No. I paid $9 for mine. It is worth that price.

It's not really the money, it's the time you would spend wasting on this title. This game doesn't resemble basketball at all.

All CPU points in the paint, the contested shot percentage has been a disaster for the last 4 months at least, and Synergy is 5 year load of garbage fed to us by this company. If it worked as marketed, the game would be good, but every game is pretty much the same. Stop the CPU from scoring inside and you can destroy them. Finally, the roster updates are nothing but numbers within the game that obviously mean nothing because the game plays the same today as it did back in January. What's the point in changing ratings if it doesn't effect gameplay?

I'm not sure if this title is on the books for 16, but this game has a long way to go.

SAVE YOUR MONEY PLEASE. Do not give this company another freaking dime.

Pisses me off that the few people that support them are shut out from the development process. 5 months till release and we STILL haven't seen a live rep here or on official website ask the community for feedback. I am tired of seeing all the communication from the other games devs but NBA live stays hidden in the shadows destined to fail

As a $9 game I enjoy it. If it was a $30 game I don't think I would enjoy it as much. I will admit the game has me hooked as I play 1 to 2 dynasty games a day.

I'm miffed at the fact hitting 3's in the game is hard as heck from the human player perspective but easy as pie for the CPU. The last dynasty game I played I went 1 for 35 in 3 point attempts and most of those were open shots as shown by the indicator. The only 3 I made in that game was actually contested, go figure.

I don't like how the CPU can drive to the basket in ways a human player can't when playing. I also don't like how when the CPU is on defense they stick to my player like they're magnetized. If I try to run and suddenly change directions I feel the CPU should be at least a step or two behind me, not right there like both players are tethered at the hip.

Despite the game's many flaws, I enjoy it. I enjoy it because it only cost me $9. If it was any more than that I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much.

I guess it is clear enough that I should not spend $30 here.

Thank you all for the feedback.
