    Two perfect releases missed today

First time I thought I was seeing things, then it happened again. The ball had a lot of spin on it and spun out of the basket. Never happened in the last 6 months of playing on PS4. I've had the ball hit the side of the backboard on a perfect release but not a straight up miss. I wonder if this is new.

I miss so many open jumpers that it's mind-boggling. They're either slightly early or slightly late, and I hardly take less than B- shots. Tips would be appreciated.

I've never missed a green light shot (perfect release). I didn't even know you could.

            happened to me last week
            corner 3, perfect release

spun around the ring about 5 times then rolled out
then one of my players tried the tip jam and was no where near the ball then just hung on the ring

Read that a green release = 99% shot will go in.

Sounds like OP is the 1%

I've missed probably 4-5 perfect release shots. It does happen. If it hasn't happened to you yet either consider yourself lucky or expect it to happen really soon.

Im playing an all Gold line up.(rttp)

onyx Nash goes to the free throw line with a minute to go in the game. Nash misses his 2 free throws one was a perfect release.

then his Gold Dwight Howard goes 2/2 in the final minutes of the game.

I lose the game game by 1 point.

                  I just don't get it.

Onyx Nash has a 92 free throw rating, 99 shot IQ, 99 OffCon, one of the easiest ft releases in the game.

He retired as one of the best pure shooters in the game and a two time mvp.

Complete garbage how 2k controls the outcome of the game.

Whats worse is that nash was hot (had the 2 red rings) had a big night going too 20 pts 10 assists.

Re: Two perfect releases missed today

Perfect Release = The release was perfect
Perfect Release <> 100% basket will be made

Try shooting a perfect release halfcourt shot or behind the backboard see if that goes in.
