2K's injustice of Vlade Divac

There are many inaccuracies in MyTeam player ratings, but perhaps none more atrocious than Onyx Vlade Divac. I know the masses don't really care (and apparently 2K doesn't either), but they COMPLETELY screwed this card up.

Passing stats in the 40s-50s
No charge card
No dimer
No flashy passer
No break starter
No scrapper
No pick-pocket

I mean, c'mon now. Breaks my heart that I can only add 3 out of all those badges he should have in the first place. And hopefully flashy passer works like it's supposed to.

2K should upgrade his passing stats out of shame and respect for the man!

Onyx Amar'e and most of the first batch of Onyx players got disrespected with bad ratings and no badges added compared to the more recent releases.

That's true, not giving Amare posterizer/transition finisher/lob city finisher was pretty bad, but at least the quality that defines him - his dunk ratings, were on par. Vlade's definitive qualities (most importantly passing ratings and flopping) were not addressed


I ended up giving my Vlade charge card and flashy passer. Haven't decided on the last slot yet

I noticed this as well. Vlade is known as one of best passing big man of all time. But this just another blunder by 2k.

That's true, not giving Amare posterizer/transition finisher/lob city finisher was pretty bad, but at least the quality that defines him - his dunk ratings, were on par.

Coming from somebody who starts Onyx Amare, I can tell you his 95 dunk ratings mean nothing. Gave him a gold posterizer and he has dunked once in his career for me. The real injustice with him is that he is SOOOOO SLOWWWW. He was the most athletic big of that era, and he's literally not fast enough to get around anyone. On the blue moon possession that he does get a lane he WILL get chased down and fouled.

With that being said, I still love playing with him. He's a fantastic jump shooter, and I pretend he carried his Suns legacy over to my Knicks squad. That's enough for me haha.

I'm still trying to figure out why Onyx Wade's mid-range ratings are a 79 and 76. Dude was borderline water from mid that '09 season. Shot an identical percentage from mid to Kobe. Both shot in the 43-44% tile yet '06 Kobe's mid-range ratings are in the 90's (Kobe's % was identical from '06 to '09 so I used that instead)... Go Figure.
