I think it's the likelihood they will carry out the said function. Not sure what else it could be. Unfortunately there's no goalie pass out one. The cpu goalie passes out way too much in traffic.

I think you're right. I've recently rekindled my love for this game. Played a full season as the hurricanes, finished 47-30-5 (4th seed)...and made a surprising Stanley Cup appearance. Forgot how much fun this game is

Still way too many breakaways which can be tempered somewhat when you change the strategies for both you and the cpu. Too bad there isn't an editor because global editing the defensemen would make this game even better.

LOTS of breakaways. I ended up editing the goalies to account for this. Nothing huge, just a few tweaks.

If you set the strategies up for most of the lines to be more "passive", the BA's calm down. Keeping PP lines on aggressive though works well.
