can I just have a season mode in Madden 16...please!!

CF is cool in all but what if I just want to play a season, control all teams, rosters..etc..don't have time going through everything else..please EA..help a brother out..

I actually wouldn't mind a playoff mode more so then a season mode, sometuimes I just want to go straight to the playoffs without having to simulate and hope my team makes it.

You can do this with CFM. I actually did this last year.

I actually wouldn't mind a playoff mode more so then a season mode, sometuimes I just want to go straight to the playoffs without having to simulate and hope my team makes it.

That's what I want and have been wanting. A playoff mode with a separate atmosphere that we can experience without doing a whole season.

Would also like a gameday mode where we could play all the matchups of the day with the exact conditions, rosters, times, and light progression.

I've been playing just the playoffs in a new cfm lately, takes just a moment to sim the entire offseason and season, one of the best parts of an online cfm is the sim speed.

Last I played I got fired after a couple of playoff misses .

Now coaching the London Monarchs!

Think of it as the "7 items or less" Express Lane at the super market. Some of us just want to play the games. We don't want to have to sift through and bypass messages about XP, progression, scouting, practice plans etc.

And pretty sure this isn't a major lift from a development standpoint.

Only in hardcore circles like this will you find people who are actually more concerned with all of the minutiae of CFM than they are about how the game plays on the field, and will actually argue with you that everybody plays CFM and this minutiae is important to everyone.

Right!! And the fact that this it how it used to be before they started appealing to online gamers. At 43 I am not interested in building stadiums, free agents, hiring coaches, or moral. All I have time to do is play the games and because of the way that connected careers is set up, it takes me like 2 hours to start a season. I'm so sick of doing this. Just give us season mode like 2k and allow us real control, none of this computer signing players and restructuring the depth chart business. Some of us just want to mirror the rosters we see on Sundays. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!

I'm all for everyone having their own way of enjoying the game, but I really don't understand what the big deal is with just simulating the preseason if you don't want to play it, and then just play the season. You don't have to do the Game Prep stuff, don't have to scout, don't have to do any of it. If all you want to do is play the season.... then just play the season.

There are flaws with doing that, but being able to (and even quicker this year, addressing the time complaint above) is why I'd be surprised to see it added anytime soon.

I think the idea is that season mode also strips out the silly progression stuff along with training, scouting, and such. It's streamlines, so you can just play the next game without dealing with BS, or getting bogged down waiting for the game to sim to the next week.

i much prefer a single season.
