Able to edit equipment but not ratings?

Just saw a youtube video that say's it'll be possible in NHL16 to Edit the player equipment of existing players but not they're ratings! Does anyone have info on this? or simply my mistake or is this is just false?

I do agree not being able to edit ratings is a downer because after a couple years in Be a GM you know the outcome of most players! But for me and my OCD/reebok hating self ahaha I like the players to look the way I want them to look and that's my major thing that will determine if I buy it or not?

How do you all feel about this?

Create a team/custom logos and Roster sharing would just be greaaaavy!

Seems like that video was all about the most recent answered questions but I don't see that questioned asked or answered so I'm not sure where he got that info. It would be great if true but would make it even more bizarre that we can't get the full edit feature in place.

Ideally, you'd be able to edit ratings too, but I'd be really happy if you can edit the equipment. I don't personally do a lot of roster/ratings adjustments in my games, but I really missed having the ability to edit my goalie's equipment during GM mode. This video is the first I've heard of this, though. So like jack19ny said, I'm not sure where he got this info but, great if true.

I'm starting to wonder if the team is trying to get Edit Player into NHL 16. The fact that they have not addressed the question with a YES or NO response tells me that they aren't sure if it'll be in or not.

Or, they could just be dodging the question because they don't want to deal with the backlash.

They (EA) have addressed the Edit Player question for NHL 16. They said that it was not in at this time and that it is something that they are hoping to get in later. They never said if later meant 16 or what, however.

And this video is just another example of misinformation running around on the internet. Anyone with a YouTube video can voice an opinion and seemingly half of the time people watch that and take it as fact.

Well I agree with Bigwill that it won't be in the game, but in typical fashion EA answered the question in a way that leaves the door open for speculation to go along with YouTube videos like this that have no evidence of accuracy. EAs answer was "you will not be able to edit players in BeaGM" making others wonder if roster edit would be available in the roster section of the menu but not once you enter BeaGM. Since then a multitude of people have submitted questions asking for clarity with no response which is why I agree with Bigwill, it won't be in at all or they would most likely have cleared it up

That's sort of what I was getting at. Since they answered the question in this way and have dodged the "will Edit Player be in the game at all" question so far, it leaves the door open for the 5% possibility they're trying to get it in for NHL 16.

But I agree...it's more likely they're dodging the question to avoid the backlash.

Yea but unfortunately all teams plays the same. You can only identify team by their jersey and the player because of their names.
