Pausing

They really need to stop making it so easy to pause the game. Im tired of people pausing on every posession. Pausing after every shot. Pausing when I get the ball and am ready to inbound pass which makes me run out of time.

They also need to stop the inbound bull**** and the dancing.

I score, then all my players are dancing, meanwhile, hes inbounded the ball and no one is available to guard him.


Then, you've got the inbound bull****.
I press x 5 times to inbound the ball and they don't. Then, on the 6th inbound, hes there and snatches the ball when it finally decideds to inbound pass. This game pisses me off!!!!

It pisses me off so very badly when people pause the game. It ruins the entire flow of the game and it's just plain dirty. There's just no need to pause the game after every made shot. I have no clue why the game doesn't think that I have the ball when I'm throwing it in. At minimum, they should remove the inbound cheese from the game. Ideally, I think you should have to call a timeout to pause the game.

You should be required to do all your subs and defensive settings in timeouts.

The game needs a countdown timer similar to Guitar Hero or something where it shows the game and counts down a couple seconds before starting back up.

You guys would hate playing Cashnastygaming in 2k lol, he pauses the game after like every shot he makes or a stupid shot his opponent makes. But they should do something about pausing even though it is harmless practically lol.

I enjoy watching his videos based off his humour but he's a garbage player with his constant abuse of the '63 fist' play along with post fadeaway cheesing on every play. Ony time he's good is when he's using a good bigman for the first time (Onyx Dwight, Onyx D-Rob, e.t.c).


As for the pausing question, it's at its worst when other dirtbags do it while you're shooting free throws in the clutch. I do make 90% of them but it's still irritating.

Lol, you have to have patience my man. You can't play 7 seconds or less ball and be impatient. It's all about taking your time and finding a weakness in your opponent. The people who I've faced that pause usually rage because I'm beating them pretty soundly or pause because they did a dunk.

1. He doesn't use that playbook anymore.

2. Why not abuse the same play over and over? If your opponent is too dumb to adjust and defend it, I say keep doing it.

3. He's admitted repeatedly that he's a cheeser. It's not like he pretends to be a great player, unlike Gento who cheeses like mad but pretends to be brilliant.

At the end of the day 63 fist isn't zig zag or baseline dunking. As much as people hate it, you can stop it with relative ease. Can't say the same for those other things.

Lmao, you're talking like I MYSELF have fallen victim to his style of play and struggle against it. I beat people regardless of if they're cheesing or not. I don't think he's a good player, just my opinion. But to counter your third point, he constantly bitches about others pulling off the same **** that he does which makes him a hypocrite.


As for that 'Gento' dude, I don't watch him so I don't know.

You should have a limited times which you could pause the game. 5 times would be enough.

Yeah I like that, and maybe it could require confirmation from both players before unpausing. I think if they paired that with a 3 second countdown timer the pausing mechanic would be perfected.

Along with removing the ability for them to pause when I'm throwing the ball in.

NOOOOOO no confirmation.
Every time I'm beating a guy, it seems they want to run out all of their timeouts and let the pause get to 1 second.
I had a guy do this to me and had just bought food with fries and was siiiiiick I couldn't eat them.
he ran out of about 5 timeouts in the 4th quarter and his pause menu count down.
then, my team called auto timeout, I damn near threw the controller at my screen haha.

I've been wondering why people pause the game all the time. I figure they dunk it with someone like Lebron, pause the game to high five themselves because they think they are so cool. It's a taunt in my opinion and unsportsmanlike. Just play the game. If you have to pause the game to check on the baby or go to the restroom then that's fine. It's the quick pause, unpause taunting that needs to go.
