Add to ACC: Navy or UConn?

In my dynasties I have spent a lot of time working on custom conferences. This is the ACC I settled on:

Which do you guys think fits better: UConn or Navy? Geographically, both make sense. I am mainly concerned with rivalries. For UConn, they would have Boston College, Rutgers, and Syracuse, and maybe Louisville (former Big East member). For Navy, they would have in-state Maryland, Virginia, and Rutgers.

It seems like UConn has the edge in rivalries, but I also feel that Navy has the edge competitively, and they have a richer history. I also have to consider that which ever team is not in the ACC will be in the American, and I am thinking UConn fits better in the American I have created.

I would say Navy. Just because of their history and because they're an independent. It would change up college football more for you and give you a better experience IMO.

Connecticut, definitely. ACC is a basketball conference and you'd be getting a good one. hopefully football comes around.

You could do both and kick out Louisville (who geographically, has no real business being in the ACC).

Yeah, I could put them in the Big 10 with WVU, Cincy, and Pitt but I currently have 14 teams there so I would have to kick out somebody or add somebody to the west.

What's your philosophy behind the conference? Right now it looks like the standard ACC with Rutgers and Maryland added and Pitt removed.

My philosophy is geography and allowing the maximum number of rivalry games.

I'd say UConn. If you're going to send Navy somewhere, I'd send them to the American.

Notable: The American becomes a mix of northern ACC schools and the old Big East. UCF and USF to the ACC. Colorado and Iowa to the Big 12. Notre Dame to the Big Ten. All non-BCS Texas schools are in the C-USA West. North Dakota State to the MAC. BYU to the Pac 12. Auburn and Mizzou flip divisions in the SEC.

I would really like to have 12 teams in the Big Ten to have a championship game but I am at a loss for which team to add.

ACC South is really unbalanced with the North, but I guess it works geographically if that is what you are shooting for. I know it has never happened, but Miami and Florida State were not put in the same division in hopes they would play each other in the championship game.

Yeah, I was thinking geography above anything else. Plus having the North Carolina schools together in the same division is best in my opinion.
