This sucks. That means, if this isn't patched, all online cfms will have to deal with the reality that most veterans in the game will be replaced completely in 2-3 seasons. What a shame. This takes away a lot of the interest and fun in having CFMs this season imo. Please fix this EA!!

Draft classes not scaled right?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Madden/comm...es_cfm_broken/
I have a friend who already has a copy of Madden 16. He has been giving my online chisemates some ratings for our inquiring minds. One thing he did was go through some drafts to determine if the attributes, specifically speed, was balanced in line with drop the current veterans in the game received. I am sad to report that it has not been tuned. Rookie draft classes are turning out mid-high 90 speed players just like every other year. The highest stock player in M16 is Perriman, I believe, with a 97 speed rating. The first draft was reported to us with a 98 spd WR and players who will immediately top others in the speed department.

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
There's already evidence that it isn't scaled so no reason to believe it is scaled. When I heard EA redid speed ratings my 1st reaction was, yeah and they likely forgot to scale the draft classes.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
I agree, I fully expect drafts to ruin cfm sooner than later into the M16 cycle
Just saying tho, it's easy to say "yo I know a guy."
The only evidence we have is a pic of a WR drafted in the first round. Again, I think you're right and I expect it to be an issue, but just saying a post like the OP can cause panic when as of yet it's not concrete"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
This is going to get locked like the other one without actual proof of someone owning the game.
It's the exact same post, word for word, that someone started a thread with earlier today.

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
Easiest fix is to just redo all speed ratings across the board and return them to what they were in M15. No need to make us wait for a patch. Doing it this way is easier and they can fix it by release day with the release day rosters.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

Let's wait till we have actual proof that this is an issue before we get bent out of shape about it.Comment

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
If this is true its just another reason for EA to let us edit in CFM. They have such a poor track record on attention to detail. If my rookies break my cfm experience I have no need for this game. My first purchase in years now looks like a cancel my pre-order and wait to see what the community saysComment

Couldn't you just adjust the minimum threshold slider?
Also, how do fast rookies ruin the experience. Why wouldn't they be like DHB as a rookie?Comment

You don't see how multiple rookies faster than any veteran in the game entering the league every offseason would ruin the experience?Comment

Re: Draft classes not scaled right?
Because they've scaled the speed of the real players to lower qualities. If u got new players coming in with 95-99 speed it ruins the whole base of the rosters. That caliber of speed should be very rare and it will become a dime a dozen.

I can see how, if I try to imagine a scenario. So yes it's a huge problem in an arcade league with young WR matched vs veteran zone CBs.Comment

But what of acceleration, minimum speed threshold sliders, awr, and play calling. The impact should be minimal outside of abusive drag plays, streaks, and stretch plays. No?Comment
