EA Access and sharing games on Xbox One
On Xbox One, you can (legally) share games with friends, wherein you choose a friend to share all your games with. If you download it, he/she has it and vice versa.
How does this work with EA Access? If my friend pre-orders Madden 16 by the 20th, but only I have EA Access, do I get to download the game and play it early from his account? |
Re: EA Access and sharing games on Xbox One
Yes, you can share any digital games with a friend. Provided they log into your Microsoft account.
As for the EA Access, the game downloaded from access is the full game, just available days early and for 10hours of game time. So you do not need his pre-order to play from access. I've played access trials were a feature was locked, but I don't think they've said any restrictions And once the release date comes you won't have to re-download madden, if your friend buys it digitally. But he won't be buying it with EA Access. He'd just be downloading it normally. Do you have to download with an Access account to play it early?

Yes, You have to download through Access to play early.
If you are going to subscribe to access, I'd suggest your friend giving you money for the game to buy because it will be 10% cheaper with your access account. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

To sum this up, you cant share EA Access. Its $5/month or $30 annually.
