Madden 16 CFM leagues.
How big will the average online CFM leagues be, 10-32 players? Just wondering and also looking for a good one. How many games will you all play a week? How will the commissioner set up the league and also how will you all set up free agency? just trying to get some good suggestions.Tags: None -

If you check out the sub forms and read some rules of the leagues u can see how different ones run things. Everyone runs things a little different.

Re: Madden 16 CFM leagues.
As stated above each league is different . Each with their own set of rules that normally consists of a large base set of rules pretty much the same across the board with other rules mixed in based on owners in that particular league. Advance times vary , some daily , some every 2 days, some every 3 and some 1 time a week. Some use custom sliders , some use default sliders. There are numerous options .See my signature below for a great place to find a ton of good leagues . Check around and find one that fits for you.Comment

Re: Madden 16 CFM leagues.
Thanks I was thinking of starting my own this year, and being the commissioner usually that's left up to my cousin, but this year I think I want to give it a try since we will be trying to enlarge our league by about 6 people to 10. Thinks for the link and the advice, much appreciated. Also does any one have a great experience or any negatives that arise. Like last year we ran two advances a week Because of work schedules and such. But it was kind of hard to arrange game times it was only 4 of us but with more people is it harder or easier to schedule game times if you all have a pvp team. also do you all split the conference.Comment

Well, let me give you some advice ive learned over 4 straight years of running a league:Thanks I was thinking of starting my own this year, and being the commissioner usually that's left up to my cousin, but this year I think I want to give it a try since we will be trying to enlarge our league by about 6 people to 10. 1- It will take time and patients to get a full league .I would not ever post in the ea sports madden forums looking for players, as you will mostly find lobby, unsim players there. The forums on the site in my signature is a good place to find players as can be the madden reddit page.
2-If you are on xbox 1 or ps4, require home team to always stream and auto record streams. This way, if any debates on infractions to rules arise, there is always video footage! This really saves alot of headache. Also deters people from trying some bs when they know they will be on tape doing so.
3-Communication is key to a healthy league. We have 32 owners every year, and have done 2 and 3 day max advances. It is very easy to do , even with 32 owners. The issue is , a good system set up to ensure quick communication. Some leagues like to set up a groupme group, which is good if everyone in the league has a smart phone. If they dont ( like in ours) groupme can be a pain in some peoples butt. So we rely strictly on texts. To ensure people arent slack about communication , we have a rule, Each game must have a set time agreed to play posted in our shoutbox within 24 hours of past advance. If no post, and all other games get posted are played, it gets simmed for lack of communication. If one opponent sends out a text and doesnt hear back within that same period, the one who sent the text, gets to play cpu and gets to win. You gotta make sure people are motivated to keep up with quick , and good communication. This system we figured out, works great at not punishing those who do take the time to try to communicate a time with opponent, and punishes those who dont take 20 seconds to respond.
4- Set up a trade committee to vote on trades so no crazy stuff happens that you cant reverse. Make a required amount of yes votes before a trade can happen.
5- Thruout the year, give surveys to your guys , and see what issues they may have or see with the way things are going and adjust as needed.
6- Be prepared as a commish, to get texts often asking you to set someone on auto, normally at the most inconvient times ever. I suggest making at least 2 -3 others admins on the game , so they can help with this, but it will still be a pain in your butt, get used to it,because ea refuses to add an option to do it from the website.
7-As a commish , you will need to be level headed and know, your gonna be dealing with multiple personalities in your owners. You will have to find a way to balance them and not let them get under your skin or each others too much. One of the biggest tasks as a commish ,is managing the owners and making it a place that everyone can exist in , peacefully.Comment

This was very helpful. Although My league will mostly be me and my cousins and a few friends not strangers as of yet. I don't think it will be a full league ever...lol. I would like to be part of a sim only league.Comment

Re: Madden 16 CFM leagues.
Hey Guys I'm new to this forum and just getting back into playing Madden. I wanted to join a league that plays every few days, but from what I've seen a lot of the leagues are only sim. I was hoping to join a league where I'd play the games (preferably against other owners rather than the cpu), is that a realistic option or are those hard to come by?
Looking forward to hopefully getting to play some of you guys in M16. Thanks for the help!Comment

Re: Madden 16 CFM leagues.
If your asking to find an online league that advances every couple days, its very doable. Many do 2 day max advances, some 3 .... Go to http://daddyleagues.com, make a profile ( which is free) and go to forums and post under what console and what your looking for in a league, you will get responses by those who meet what your looking for.Hey Guys I'm new to this forum and just getting back into playing Madden. Very. Check out the sticky threads under "online" play. It shouldn't be difficult to find your match.
Looking for a compatible league is a lot like tinder or Facebook poking circa 2004Comment
