Yeah, that's gotta be the old threshold setting. "Parity" is probably a much more accurate description of what it does because it increases/decreases the speed difference between the fastest and slowest runner in the game. Therefore increasing/decreasing the speed "parity" across the league.

I've always thought of it as a "big play slider" for that reason - when it's low, the difference is larger and the player speed ratings REALLY come to the forefront and influence the game.

I really hope he's talking about the actual gameplay sliders and not just the penalty sliders. We know the penalty sliders have been revamped but this will be one of the first things I do with the game. Just jacking sliders from 0 to 100 and seeing if there is a very noticeable difference. If they have been revamped and work like the penalty sliders this is absolutely great and HUGE. You should post this in the main forum as well to see if we can get some clarification.

Yea I'm still in the wait and see mode. He does specifically mentions game play sliders though. Then says something about penalty sliders. I hope he meant what he said. I'll find out Thursday. Fingers crossed

I asked if they where fixed in the Q&A thread. Didn't get a response.

Edit: he didn't say "gameplay sliders" but, he seems to be talking about the sliders themselves

I didn't even notice that the first time. That has to be what that is. It seems to describe it better.

That encourages me even more that they fixed sliders because they went in and changed other setting that haven't been touched in years. Or at least the name of them.

I got a distinct impression from Rex when he stated sliders were revamped and work as described and penalty sliders are completely independent of gameplay sliders.

I have a good feeling set's will be far easier to develop than M15 was.

Wait...hold up...You mean to tell me that your not watching game tape of all the youtube videos being posted? Which means you won't have a release day slider set for the community?!?! Slacker......


I kid...I kid...Just messin' with you brotha'! LOL! I'm feeling VERY optimistic that you and all the slider gurus will come up with an ultimate slider elixir that will bring us the most euphoric NFL experience in years! :) I'm lookin' forward to the yearly Armor & Sword, twitch broadcasts!

Am extremely stoked for this release b/c of the potential I have seen in these videos and confirmation from youtubers / twitch streamers that sliders actually DO work this year...August 25th, here we come!!!!
