    From the start help

    Hey guys.
    I just picked up a used copy of the game. I've never played a basketball game before. So I put the disk in and it takes me right to a game between Spurs/Heat. Ok...I don't want to really play this game but figure that I will have to get through it to access a menu. I complete the game however it just takes me right back to the "welcome" screen. No menu. I also had the Warning at the bottom left that reads "Update required. Return to main menu to apply update". I can't figure out if they mean Main menu of the game or the PS4 main menu. There is no update on the PS4 menu that I can find. I also don't get any commentary even when I turn the Commentary all of the way up. In fact...no crowd either. Did I get a bad disc or am I not doing something right?

      The most common reason is that update files are downloading. If you wait some time and the issue continues, I resolved it going to Notifications menu and click on the 2K15 notification saying "files installed" or something like this. The game started directly from there and works.

          The only thing in my notifications are friend requests.

          And it's been about 2 hours now since I installed the game. It took about 21 minutes to install. Does that sound right?

          EDIT:

          I just went and checked Downloads and it does say NBA2K15 Update File Installed.

              Have you tried restarting your console?
