NBA 2k16 MyCAREER Thread

Hey everyone!

What are some things you would like to see in MYCAREER this year? I think a little improvement would be for us to have the option of what jerseys our teams wear each game. I would love to see my player rocking a vintage jersey or even a sleeved jersey once in a while. I also liked the idea of being able to recruit other NBA players and hope the devs build on that. We haven't heard much about MYCAREER mode so hopefully they are saving the best for last!

Cut scenes that don't repeat after year 1 or 2. If I'm the best player on the team, I shouldn't still be getting treated like a rookie

I am hoping the story is very good and also allow us to have different choices that could alter our career. I am definitely hoping for alternate jerseys. They said it would be in last year and it wasn't besides for the Lakers.

I am also hoping this year we can actually see rosters in the free agency before selecting a team. Hated not knowing if going to the Lakers would Kobe still be there or not or if a certain player I wanted to play with was moved or not and etc.

That was infuriating. During my latest MyCareer I signed with the Lakers just to play with Kobe and he was out for the year with a torn ACL.

I hope they fix the minutes played per game. I don't want to play 40+ minutes every single game. I've never finished a career mode because I played every game on 12min quarters. If it's not fixed again this year, i'll probably just play key games or lower it to 6min quarters.

Yes and let me sit myself if I want. I hated when my team was up by 40 points in the 4th quarter and I was still out there. PUT THE RESERVES IN

I'd like more clothing/accessory options. Especially tights and leg sleeves.

From companies like Nike/Jordan and Under Armour. These could be worn for MyPark and ProAM.

There's literally no socks. We need more brands, styles, and ways to wear socks (ie: slouched, pulled up tight etc).

I don't think you should be forced into wearing strictly one brand such as Adidas when you're not playing in NBA games. EA seems to agree seeing as the players in their version of the Pro Am are rocking all kinds of Jordan Brand gear. I'm hoping 2K follows suit.

We need more headbands for Pro Am/Park play.

We should be able to wear the logo in any direction we want as well.

I'd also like more basketball shorts from different brands, and the ability to wear your uniform/clothing fitted or baggy. There should be sliders for tops and bottoms so that I could wear a more fitted jersey but baggier shorts. Or vice versa.

Coach Sitdowns
Similar to GM sitdowns but this time with the coach
discuss minutes, playing time, and strategy also during games let me be able to ask to get taken out.
Also I don't want to be guaranteed a starting spot let me earn it and lose it as well especially when you go to a new team.

I don't want to have the same story as everyone else have different choices and stuff that can effect the storyline. Not only that but as someone who does multiple mycareer guys It gets boring seeing the same thing over and over again.

If I'm a SF and was drafted in the lottery to the Raptors before DeMarre Carroll I should be able to start right off the bat.

If I'm a #1 pick I should start or get a big role if my team is rebuilding and/or desperately needs a player at my position. I'm not sure if it was in past 2k games but I should also be paid like a #1 overall pick too (4.5 Million first year to ? VC)

I just hope my teammates can actually play this year, I hate having to dominate the ball just to get a win!
