Armor & Sword’s Madden 16 All Pro Custom Simulation Style Sliders
Welcome Maddenites to another exciting year of Madden football! This season looks to be the very best yet again. M15 IMO gave us a heck of year of improvement, and also pointed out some things that needed to be worked on. So far by many accounts it seems like the long awaited implementation of WR/DB interaction is a hit. Also we have penalties!!! The passing and running game looks like it will be on a new level of realism and more importantly fun! Tackling has received an upgrade as well. As always the core goals of the set will be: 1. Fun2. Realistic stats 3. Great animations and games feeling organic and unique 4. Dice roll results driven first and foremost by player ratings and a focus on team building via the draft and realistic XP development Some "House Rules" I use to enhance the Madden game playing experience: 1. Strict "No Switch Rule" on offense and defense - I play a strict no user catch rule on Madden. Both offline and online (SOS League). Player ratings determine the outcome and this year with the new WR/DB interaction and catch types/play the ball, play the WR interactions, we should get awesome results and a higher level of simulation game play. On Defense I typically utilize the defensive cam almost exclusively but this season something has changed and I will only use it when I user pass rush or fully expect a running play. I also never switch. If I play as the MLB on given play I stay as the MLB all the way through the result. What that does is put a focus on player ratings, player awareness and depending on your teammates to make a play you are not involved in. This also at times will strengthen the CPU and make it more of a challenge to play against them. I can tell you it is very hard playing defense this way and can lead to some ugly games if your defense is tired or having an off day so buyer beware. 2. Use your playbook - mix up your plays. Use the entire playbook. Don't go for it every time on 4th and 1 with a FB dive or QB sneak. In other words don't cheese the CPU. Keep it real. That's basically it as far as approach and playing style. I truly look forward to providing a great base set of sliders at the "All-Pro" level for you to play with. Please use it as a starting point to tweak to your hearts content. Everyone has different skill levels and there is no "one size fits all" slider set. I will not be developing an All-madden set. We are currently in Year 2 we also have "The Marino Years" a 1986 32 team CFM currently in year 1 Twitch Channel = ArmorAndSword I am going to focus on: CPU and User pass rush (cpu controlled players for both sides in particular) CPU and User running game CPU and User QB Accuracy and doing what I can to have elite QB's truly be elite and average to below average QB's be just that. Penalties - get both side with realistic penalty numbers. Keep in mind some teams will commit more than others based on player ratings. The goal of the entire slider set is a major focus on player ratings determining dice roll results along with your user input for a rewarding, simulation style experience.
