Fans of 92-93 Phoenix Suns & 90's Pacers: Will We Ever Get Them on 2K?

Seriously, I love the new classic teams announced but seems like every year I dream about these 2 teams and "we" never get them. I know some of the Barkley 2K issue but why not Indiana Pacers? I don't care which team in the 90s, but any of them is fine with me, hell, 99-00 Pacers would be good for me.

I, in my opinion, only want these two teams added. I have gotten my wishes before but this one is upsetting. 2 more teams to be revealed? I doubt it will be any of these two. Might be more modern classic teams from the 2000s.

Anyone a fan of these teams as disappointed as me?

Reggie and Chuck do not want to be in the game.. Idk why that's so hard for people to grasp year in and year out.

I just want the 03 Nets. I'm a bit tired of these 90s and 80s teams with players that look nothing like they really do.

I'd rather have guys more current that might actually be scannable.

They can ADD the teams in and just leave those 2 players out and USERs can make CAPs. Same thing everyone does with the 84-85 76ers teams that Barkley is missing from.

Have to get Charles Barkley and/or Reggie Miller to be in the game for this to happen.

If they don't want to be in the game, there's nothing 2K can do.

I can't grasp something I didn't know about. This sounds condescending.

It's not really pointed towards you, personally. But everybody...I have posted in every thread that the name Barkley is mentioned that he will, as of right now, NEVER be in another NBA videogame again. Only the ones when he was playing and the Dream Team year. He was only in the Dream Team year because Jay-Z personally called him and convinced him to allow his likeness to be used. And he doesn't want to be in the game because he doesn't like the way the NBA handles it's retired players.

Thanks for the nice message. It's frustrating to read this about Barkley. What does he mean by treatment of retired NBA players? NBA 2K13 is still one of my favorite in the series. I was a happy little schoolboy playing with Barkley, you have no idea. Too bad it won't happen again.

What's the deal with Miller then?

No idea about Miller it could be money. And King_B_Mack can help with Barkley, I forget the exact reasons. It's in one of the threads about classic teams.

I didn't mean it to be condescending, nor directed purely towards you. This discussion is just brought up in nearly any thread about rosters and has been for the past few years.

I'm not sure why Reggie isn't. I know he was in 2k6, hell Chuck might have been too. Would be great if they were in the game, it's just highly likely that it'll never happen.

I`m a Playstation user, but recently I decided to download the Ultimate Base Roster for PC.
You guys should do it. It is easy and all NBA seasons are included in this mode. You can play with the 93,94,95,95 Phoenix Suns or any Pacers teams.
You`ll never need to ask 2K for any classic team anymore.
The mod covers the 1960 season up to 2015. Arenas, uniforms, player cyberfaces, logos, it is all there.

I believe Millers issue has to do with the fact that 2k Fired his sister, she was a sideline reported for the game years ago.

Charles even opted out when he was playing. NBA Live 97 had a guy named "Roster Forward" instead of Barkley. Chuck was also pulled out of the NBA Jam roster with the later productions of the game. So some had Barkley and some had Thunder Dan Majerle. I was lucky enough to have Barkley in my SNES version.

Barkley just doesn't like to be in video games and hasn't for 20 years.

Reggie might show up, but I don't believe he's been in a game since he retired either.
