Push For: D-League Teams to be FULLY Customizable and Playable Through The Main Menu

Having D-League teams in the game will be pointless, to me, if we won't be allowed to edit each player (100%) to ensure that we aren't playing with those no named dudes from 2K12.

I would love to be able to use Canton in Exhibition mode and watch a in system scrimmage vs. the Cavs.

For those that don't know, myself and HyperBaller23 edited our 2K12 D-League (thanks Vlad) and had a fully functioning/accurate D-League. I spent more time playing those games than the games in my actual season.

Wait has the D-League been confirmed? I heard news about it possibly being in the game, but never thought it was confirmed. I'm not doubting you just wondering

It hasn't so I'm thinking it didn't get the love this year. I think the association guys would have made a bigger deal of it if sending your guys down to the D-League was actually actually a thing. At least Summer League is back.


I suppose it's actually possible to create your own D-League teams with branding and arenas now, but a bit pointless if Association won't allow you to use them properly.

Has there been any confirmation or even mention of the D-League being in NBA 2K16? Having those teams (and feature) back would help give a ton of the free-agents playing time and stop them from (likely) regressing.

That feature and being able to stash draft picks are vital to truly simulating the current NBA, IMO.

Better off posting this in February. This game is finished, they aren't going to add anything a few weeks out from launch.

One reason is so you can go and edit them if you hate 2K's ratings system and then use them in your franchise mode. Also more spots to take players from and stash real NBA players when creating fictional rosters or classic rosters.

With Summer League back in D-League is a must or else i don't see the value of playing and scouting during Summer League. Where am i going to put players with decent stats that wont fit into my 15 this year? In fact The Raptors organization just created a D-league this year so players like Caboclo will get minutes instead of rotting on the pine.

I could careless if its playable just let me have a call up/down system and game stats so i can fully utilize Summer League by inviting those that impress and sign those i believe will flourish under my system.

I doubt its even in at all in any capacity, this would have been addressed during their huge MyLeague write up.

They already have the Euroleague which has yet to be properly incorporated into the My modes.

Euroleague teams is a place where you put draft and stash players (Nets did it last year with their 2nd rounder Xavier Thames. It's also a place where you scout former 2nd rounders who have developed (Spurs with Boban Markonovich), and it's a place to scout future international players who will be in future drafts.

D League is great but if they don't want to implement that yet they could at least give a function to Euroleague team outside of exhibition or fiction MyLeague's

I enjoy developmental talent. I enjoy looking at the smaller arenas of the D-League squads. I like playing with lower rated players vs. other lower rated players. I like being able to play with former college stars that are not in the NBA.

Yes you are, you are asking for every D-league team to be made available in the game in relevant modes to which it should be applied to. Because having them just be available in exhibition is unwanted and a waste of time on the part of the developers. Then you are asking for them to have every player that's supposed to be assigned to a specific team to be assigned to one. Then you would be asking for some sort of system in which you can promote and demote players, as well as having the correct rules for doing so in place.

I don't need to go any further I think. This isn't some "flip a switch" type of deal IMO.

Let's just hope that it's in 17.

Maybe I am missing something but I thought the D-League and SUmmer League were already announced for 2K16.

there will be no D-League so this thread is pointless.

id love to have it back though. would be also cool for MyCareer if u get draftet late to play some games in the D-League
