Madden 16 Realistic/Scanned/Unique Player Faces Thread

So I put together a list of players who have scanned, realistic, or unique faces in Madden 16. Some were very hard to tell and they have been marked with [?], some were clearly scanned but looked awful or outdated and those have been marked with[*]. I've ordered them by position, because that was just easier.

This is likely not a complete list. I did not go through every player on the roster, especially some of the lower rated players, but this is a start and would love to hear if people find some that I missed!

What's really disappointing is the lack of many new faces. It's really frustrating when players who are the top rated players at their positions STILL don't have unique faces, like Justin Houston, Eric Weddle, and Marshall Yanda. Hopefully, like last year, we will get a likeness update at some point.

Note: I've found that if you go to edit players in Franchise Mode, many do not have their faces for some reason, but they are there both in-game and editing from the main menu.

Thanks so much for starting this list, I will chip in what I can.



The first thing I did was to cross-check your list against the Madden 15 player likeness update list. I think it is safe to assume that players on that list have face scans/custom faces.



A cross check will let us confirm a few of your question marks, and also there were a few players – particularly wide receivers – that you might have missed.



I am away from my console right now, but I will do a separate post with a few others that I know from memory; I have been obsessed with trying to track down these faces for quite a few editions. Frankly, I am shocked at how few truly new scans are in this years game and I would be quite surprised if another likeness update doesn’t come out mid-season.

I thought or assumed the same thing about the players from last year's likeness update. What's crazy is that many of them don't seem to be there. For instance: Cook, Davis, Ogletree, Allen, and Morgan all seem to have reverted to generics. I have no idea why this is, but hopefully we will get them back soon, since we know EA has the scans.

I've added a bunch of receivers and included people like Zuerlein and Fuller to the list. I've also confirmed Ball, Griffen, Davis, and Burnett.

First off, I want to say thank you for getting a list together.

I just want to say that EA really should figure out a way to get at least 85% of the real players faces in the game. I know that wont happen this year, but they really need to get this type of stuff in the game. We have gaming systems that allow some other games to feature full body scanning, so why would it be difficult to at least have face scanning for almost every player in the league. They need to go to each team, setup shop and allow the scans to take place. If not, manually make the ones that couldn't be scanned. All that really matters is the front of the face to be accurate considering they are wearing helmets that cover most of their head.
